I've only heard claims of extreme distance gains with the 3w. Can the same be said for the 5w and 7w? I am in the market for one of those clubs.
Nice to finally see TM decreasing the length of their clubs. At 5'4 I always have to get everything cut down, with TM's even shorter.

Of course he loves it - his entire bag is Taylor Made stuff. Not saying it's rubbish, and I'm sure i'll test our shop model once the snow melts, but I hit my Ping G10 4 wood 330 the other day. Normally around 265 - 280 with the 4 wood. I'll give it an honest look once the snow is gone, but nothing there that is going to make me switch.

Well, it was slightly cheesy. But I must add this........trust me, a whole lot of people will be saying Wow the first few swings with the RBZ 3 wood inside and outside and I would aspect the same for the whole line up.

They did it up a bit, but they are selling something for what probably is their largest account, so what else would you expect? I am selling nothing and I tell you it would have happen the same way if they were not selling the item.

By the way, I'm saying that the VP for GPP once played on a mini tour of some sort and I am guessing won few nice events at one time. That swing could easily hit the RBZ 3 wood 250 yards on the fly. No question about it.

Their ads claim that the 20+ yard distance gains for higher swing speeds. Wouldn't be surprised to see the distance gains be more of a percentage gained rather than absolute gains. For example, the gain is like 10% of your previous club, so the guy who hits his old stick 250 would gain 25 yards, where the older gentleman who hits it 180 gains 18 yds. May be something to keep in mind when you go to hit these!

17 yards is the actual claim from TM. They saw more in certain instances but 17 yards was an average gain.

So 17 over last years model. So what if last years model was say.. 17 yards shorter than another club for someone, then by that logic, it would be equal to it now compared to last years model????

How about us lesser mortals? Will we see any appreciable distance gains?

Also, all we've been reading about is the 3-wood. How about the 5, 7, and 9-woods? Are they just as "hot"?

200 golfers were tested at an event using their gamer 3 wood against the RZB 3 wood.
Yes they all go farther. They went so far TM needed to design an iron set to fill the gapping.

No iced over lakes, Cog Hill #2 - The Ravines. I'll give the RocketballZ line a try, but I highly doubt I will end up switching.

Just had a look at the 2012 hotlist, and was surprised to see that both the RBZ and RBZ Tour received only 4 stars for performance... the lowest scoring in the performance catergory off all the fairway woods on test.

Either the people who tested them haven't a clue, the scoring is incorrect, or the TM hype department have managed to brainwash everyone on earth that this is the greatest golf club ever, when it probably isn't... I wonder which one it is?!

Thanks for the video GPP. You guys have a great website.

My R9 3 wood was only club that was safe until I saw this video...and the same type of video that is on the Adams commercial with Kenny Perry..."this thing is a rocket". Which ironically have the same "slot" technology that boosts the COR.

With all the negative comments about this video, its no wonder more people/sponsers dont post these videos. It never fails that there is always some wisebutt critiquing every single thing on this forum and ruins it for everyone including the poster..and the reason I dont post or read all the threads anymore. .

...Ever changing

Haha, definitely the golf club. People are making this 3 wood out to be the "be-all-end-all" of golf clubs. The kick about it is that TaylorMade will come out with a "new" version of it in 6 months. Just the way TaylorMade does things.
