Dang, why do you guys hate the mock so much? I have 2 Nike Dri-Fit mocks in red and black. As a teenager when you're at the peak of your physical performance in life you look good in anything! Ha ha!!!!

I own one with like some kind of fleece lining in it that I wear for those cold fall and spring mornings at the course. I wear that and a 3/4 zip pullover and it is about as warm as a jacket with way more freedom to move around. I used to wear a short-sleeve one but I just got rid of it because I didn't like how it fit me the few times I did wear it.

Wasn't the flat-bill popular in the 70's for about 6 years? It'll give way to the next sensation, if the 80's are any indication, of the super-curved bill.

Back on topic, isn't this a golf STYLE forum? Mock turtlenecks with cargo shorts need not apply.

If you go the mock route you have to be fit ( like i am in my teens and youre good until 25 ) wearing them physically unless youre an exception i still own a few and where them for those early morning rounds

I think a true turtleneck has very long neck fabric that folds over. A mock does not fold over but simulates the look of the turtleneck. (ergo the term "mock")

I think the look that is being derided is the short-sleeved mock that was worn as a stand-alone in lieu of the traditional polo (see Goydos photos).

It still has its place as a cold weather under layer.

Agreed, Mock under a shirt is necessary in the spring and fall. But mock short sleeves..... haha NO THANKS.
About 6 years ago we had a Mock neck staff shirt at the course I worked at and it was BRUTAL!!

Thrillhouse, I applaud you. This particular grammatical error has been driving me nuts on these boards for quite some time, only I didn't wish to correct it through risk of being branded a grammar witch and metaphorically burned at the stake. The thing is, it scarily common on here - so many people seem to say this - and I can't figure out why.
