PING was there in full force this year and we were lucky to get some great interviews with two lead designers, Marty Jertson and Mike Nicolette. Enjoy the video and pics!

I gotta say, the entire I20 line looks great. Address pictures are awesome. That driver and 3W are a must but I'm not discounting the irons or the hybrid either. They all look great.

Can't Wait! I want those i20 irons.

Though much is taken much abides;
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Are they one of the only major brands that isn't manufacturing adjustable woods? These look awesome!
[/quote]

They may not be "adjustable" per se, but they are able to be bent upright or flat!

I love the fact that the footprint on the 3 wood is so small, and that it is a more compact head compared to other manufacturers. 142cc on the 14* i20 vs Taylor R11s TP is 155cc, RBZ Tour is 171cc on the 13*. It's tougher to find a nice compact head in a fairway and these seem to have done it.

Having said that, I know it's smaller than what I play with and my CB2 sure doesn't bother me with it's looks or performance, so it will take a lot to get that out of my bag.

PS, I know cc's doesn't equal footprint, if it's really shallow I know it would look bigger, but I saw the Taylor stuff in person yesterday for the first time, and it looks way to big to be a fairway, as it has for years in my opinion. I don't hit my woods out of bad lies very often so it probably would affect the performance, and I'd get over it if it performs, but they just look too big. Maybe it's the white...the all black does make clubs look a bit smaller I find.

Hit an i20 6iron at my local Edwin Watts yesterday. Kept alternating between other irons and always went back to the i20 (tried Nike blades and pro combo, CG16, TMR11, Burner 2.0 and even a Mizzy MP53 I think). Everytime I hit the i20 my swing felt "at home". It was so smooth and the feedback felt good. My secon preference out of the bunch was the 2.0s but I didn't like the look at address.

These irons are great. Now to justify to myself the idea of dropping $800 on a new set of irons. Maybe I need to switch professions.

Let me tell you guys I hit these woods at the PGA show and they are amazing. Keep in mind I haven't owned a Ping club in 20 years so i'm no homer. Honestly these were impressive.

Had a small chuckle here as I was looking through the pictures, thinking "man, I could put ALL of the i20 line into my bag and be happy for years" and then I scrolled down to see that most of the comments posted said essentially the same thing.

Can anyone tell me if they hit the hybrid and what it compares to? I lost my 20* baffler and have not been able to find a 20* that I like. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

(This hybrid looks incredible. Hope it plays as well as it looks)
