Yes I hit both today, they both are incredible distance wise, bUt the turf Interaction I didn't like and I much prefer the look of the i20 woods. Also, the i20 is a lot more forgiving than the i15 I have found.[ quote name='NewGeneration' timestamp='1333767003' post='4668506']
Back to the 3 woods, have you hit the Adams Fast 12 and Super Fairway?

I remember that the fast 12 was a bomber when I hit the demo, I hit it pretty long off the matt in a sim but I had already ordered my RBZ and I perfer the RBZ's giant size and deep face anyway, I hit a shot from over 250 out that flew onto a green and stopped within 10 feet with my 17* RBZ.. I really think you should put more time in with it, off real turf and on the course if possible, I want an all PING bag but that would mean I'd have to get a G20 4 wood that's way to shallow for my liking, or an i20 3 wood that digitally lofted at 16-17... I did like the i20, I tested the 14* with the PX 6.5, off the tee, cannon hands down, but I felt that off the deck the flight wasn't go for the green material, where my 17* RBZ is nearly perfect, as it spins way too much (was around 4000 when I had it on an outdoor LM) but the high flight coupled with that makes me comfortable hitting it into a green and knowing that it will sit down within 20 feet and not go rolling into a bunker.

Contrary to popular belief, distance isn't the most important thing about my golf game. :)[quote name='NewGeneration' timestamp='1333771541' post='4669046']

I'm pretty sure you're joking, because I really didn't say much about distance in that post.. Actually I found the i20 longer.. And stated that. I gave the edge to the RBZ because of the high flight and ability to hold greens.... Not sure where you got the distance part from.. I mean, we text back and forth all day talking about clubs so you know I'm not all distance.. if I was hung up on distance I would play a Long Tom, with 6* loft, a Super fairway 13*, and RBZ irons 3-PW bent strong with Steelfibers.. However that's not the case as I play clubs that are actually shorter hitting. The RBZ is in my bag because of how forgiving it is.. Due to the high spin I lose a few yards compared to other woods, but I use it don't I?

  • 2 weeks later...

Still need to get some ferrules (Going all out Pimp with them) and uhmm maybe snag an i20 3 wood? Gotta give my dad back his 3 wood, which I gave him for his 50th...:hi::busted2: [quote name='NewGeneration' timestamp='1334716996' post='4742224']
So it's about time to see the bag as it's being played now eh?

a 5 putt.... its been awhile since I have 3 putted and I have only 4 putted one time in a tournament... Wow im just in shock.

Ouch. That is rough. I assume a slope was involved on the green. The other day i doubled a 260 yard par 4 after being 5 feet away on the fringe up the hill back down 2 putts. I was shaking lol. Today was also up and down started with a double bogey finished 2 over. had 2 bogeys 2 birdies. 2 missed 2 footers.

260 yard par 4? Is this from the ladies tees? Holy cow that sounds fun.

nah not from the ladies tee's just a pretty easy hole followed by a respectable 560 yard par 5 and preceded by a 383 yard par 4. Even though its short though you have ob long if you take driver and bunkers guard each edge of the green and both sides of the fairway with ob on the left and scattered trees on the right its a really fun hole the green is also tough because there is a false front and the hole green slope back toward the fairway so too much spin and your gone. More challenge than it appears on the face,
