I may have to try to find another avenue, since i'm not keen on waiting til Mid July.

I ordered my pair this morning. Discount Golf's website said pre-order would ship on 6/8. Apparently they didn't change the wording on their site. They said i was actually lucky, as the other orders placed today now won't ship til August. TeeGolf is sold out of my size, as that was my first choice.

FWIW, I found them to run 1/2 size small.

I wonder how much of an impact Tiger's win last weekend had on the sale of these shoes? Initially the shoes were pre sale only and would ship on 6/8. Now all of the pre-orders are sold out and the earliest most people are going to receive them if they missed out on the pre-order is late July or August now. Just yesterday on TGW, the estimated ship date was 6/20 and a few hours later it changed to 7/25

Hopefully Nike will be able to speed up their manufacturing lead times because they need to strike while the iron is hot.

Looking at the Golfsmith page.... the mediums are now slated for June 11th; just updated today from June 8th.
Wides are increasing daily and are now June 20th. I ordered Wides when they were listed as June 11th.


The 12W are now Aug. 23rd; 13M are July 14th. YMMV

Nike's always run too narrow for me. I'll have to head to a store and actually try them on.

Pretty poor if it works out that the June 8th date is the shipping date and not the arrival date. Especially when they give you the option on in-store pick-up on the release date. It's pretty standard (like with video games for example) that people who get it shipped and people who pick up in-store get it on the same day.

my TW 13 shoes have a production date 1/11/12 to 2/25/12. What has nike been doing since then? I really don't get this limited release thing

Same here, my thoughts are the shoe is of course made months in advance (dont know how many quantities). But as for the limited release of it, i was told it that Nike wanted to test the sales of the shoes before making them more in production, they dont wanna make say 40,000 pairs of shoes to sell only 12,000 of them.

So if the sales are good in this so called "test" release. There will be a full size run production in the summer and thats when all sizes should be available, like sizes 13 and 14.

My best guess is they are trying to make these hard to come by like the Nike Fuel Bands. Those suckers were very hard to come by when they were first released and created a lot of buzz. it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Nike was doing the same thing again here.

They are releasing a certain amount to gauge interest and sales- (in the state of georgia they only released 100 pairs.) The real release is late summer.

I was fortunate enough to snag a pair from an Edwin Watts. They are very comfortable and surprisingly sturdy. I thought from watching TV Tiger's pair seemed soft and squishy, but was surprised when i found out they are actually more stiff than they seem on TV. Not a fault though. Range for an hour, then walked nine. They were more comfortable than my FJ icons, and became increasingly more comfortable as the day wore on.

Good shoe, durable, well built, and really f-ing comfortable. Crazy that Nike thinks they need to test the waters before releasing them fully.

Good NEWS! Just called 3 of my local golf stores and the ALL have them in stock, just are not releasing until tommorrow. No Wide widths just Mediums. They even were willing to take my name and put them on hold. For those who are thinking of ordering, call your local golf store, plenty in stock.

Maybe its just me, but looking at the above photos, they look a little more stiff than the shoes Tiger has. I wonder if these are really the same shoes that Tiger has. Anyone who has worn them, please comment.

I called Golf Galaxy today and they said they have no info on when the pre orders from them will ship.They will ship directly from Nike sometime this month.Seems like they were the worst possible option to pre order from and I thought the exact opposite when I placed my order
