I found the email listing I had from last years outing. I was considering posting it in this thread but im not 100% sure that everyone would want me to post that information. Yea..Might sound a little silly but I just dont want to go there. Anyway...Here are the screen names from those I have.

Well lets get something figured out so I can start planning for it! The last thing I need is for this to be last minute. My fiance will make plans for us before I get to drop this on her! busted2.gif

Ok. I havent heard back from anyone on Redstone. So lets pick a date to get this moving. The place will be Cypresswood Golf Course.

Dates are 04/21/2012 , 04/28/2012 and 05/05/2012 ( all are Saturdays ).
PM me and post your date selection.

Cypresswood has two courses. The Cypress and the Traditions Course. Cypress is the cheaper and Traditions is where the Q School Tournaments are held.
Let me know your preference on courses as well.

Thanks and i hope we can get the ball rolling.

I think we've gone deep enough into April to bump the dates out a bit so people can plan.

I'm likely out the 28th and 29th.

I am currently open for May 5th and 6th, and I am also available May 12th. May 13th is Mother's Day.

Maybe those interested can post which days he is available, and the day with the most available players is the date we pick. We can pick the course once we set the date.

Recap...

Player: putt4_66

4/28 - Out
4/29 - Out
5/5 - In
5/6 - In
5/12 - In

Traditions would be fine. I really don't care to play the Cypress course.

(Edit to add course preference.)

If we go with 5/5, it looks like we have these participants so far... though I'm sure others will join.

I wouldn't mind playing the Cypresswood Tradition course. Green fee is $69 + tax.

If the group really wants to, we can play Augusta Pines again, instead of the $90 public rate, I can get you all on, if I play, at the guest rate which is about $65, including tax.

If we want to go more high roller, we could play the Redstone Tournament course, but that's $175 before 1:30 PM and $125 after.

I'm game for any of the above, as long as we don't tee off before 11:30 AM. I don't play early mornings, sorry.

I can do the 05/05. My preference is Augusta Pines and then Cypresswood.

Also, Cypresswood is $54 + tax after 2pm on a Saturday.

Hi..I am John Hanley. I live near Sugar Land, probably an hour from those courses. I played half the round last year, it was a little later in the year and got too hot for me.

I would like to play with you all, and can play on any of the dates mentioned, and any of the courses mentioned, although RedStone seems a little pricey for me. Being a senior, I play from the forward men's tees.

Just found the regional sections. I just moved back to Houston a couple weekends ago. I'd like to play with yall if I'm free. Trouble is, I'm not sure how far out I can plan with a youngster in the house. If yall hammer down a course and date, let me know and I'll try to give you confirmation one way or another far enough in advance.

I've never played Cypresswood or Augusta Pines, so I'd love to play either of those.

I like 5/5! That might work for me. Cypresswood after 2 would be nice - anything to make it a little cheaper.

5/5 is looking promising.. Looks like it should be a pretty good turnout should we decide to do it that day.. Let's get something set in stone so we can all start planning around it..

I'm assuming we'll be playing just 18 and it looks like a lot of us are looking to start no earlier than 11 or so..

5/5 around noon or later at either Augusta Pines or Cypresswood good for most of you guys? Also, we might be able to get a discounted rate at one of these courses if We have a large enough group. That'd be nice!

Does being a high handicapper matter? This sounds like it can be great fun.
It should not matter at all.. it should be about Texas wrx'ers getting together and meeting one another and then have a good time playing a game we like (hate as times) to play.

Not at all. The good players usually go in the first group and so on...
That sounds like a pretty good way to go about it... I am assuming that they are grouped as close together HC wise to make it easier for everyone to feel comfortable playing, as I know from personal experience, as much as I like playing with low HC'ers to get a little playing knowledge, sometimes I feel as if I am holding them up from having a good round..
