Does your yellow ball attract bugs??

Played a yellow Ttileist DT Solo yesterday and had more than a few instances where bugs were buzzing around the ball on my swing. Do they think it's a flower? Probably has something to do with the time of year, but it was distracting.

 

Anyone else notice this?

now that you mention it - I have had several instances where there were bugs on my ball recently while playing yellow balls, not sure if there's anything to it or not.

I've also noticed that while I can see yellow balls in the air better and definitely better when they hit the fairway\green, shots in the rough are actually harder to find for me, I'm not really sure why - but a couple of muni's I've played with dandelions in the rough sure didn't help...

totally. Hummingbirds too. Just like flowers, they're attracted to bright colors.

Yeah I noticed this with the orange e6 as well. I live in FL and when the love bugs come out, they are all over anything white. Especially a white shirt.

My Yellow Balls used to attract bugs, but I started bathing regularly and that seemed to stop them.

I swear to God a butterfly prevented a putt from going in because it was chasing down my yellow Srixon Q-Star on Sunday. That was BS.....

Ive played the Z and Q Stars for a few seasons and have never noticed once.

Idk why but my balls always seem to attract Bugs. Maybe it's a smell thing?

It's all part of nature. Bugs are attracted yellow balls. Yellow balls are attracted to trees. Yellow balls with the new ball smell are attracted to carts paths. Don't ever clean your yellow balls right before playing a shot over water. The clean ones like the water after that.

I really havn't noticed alot of bugs around my yellow balls . I play this course in the mountains and I have noticed alot of butterflies flying around my ball in the fairway though. It's really cool. I never given it much thought it was the yellow ball until I read this thread.

I played with an NXT Tour S yellow ball yesterday, there was only 1 butterfly that came to visit, no bugs.

Not that I have noticed, but I haven't really paid attention. Just struck it up to nature and how bugs behave. It happened to me yesterday and I was playing a regular white ball.
