I've (very recently) gone back to the Odyssey White Steel Centre-shafted 2 ball.

I played it for several years, then tried some others, most recently the 2 Ball Backstyke that I generally liked a lot. But I just feel I CAN make anything with the White Steel version (and isn't that a huge part of the battle won?!!).

Though it is crisp, I also find it doesn't tend to lose the line at the end as it dies close to the hole as the softer insert ones.

The other problem I've encountered with the soft inserts is the issue of sand and grit on the face, even though I do try to be careful cleaning my ball before putting. Especially an issue if the course is wet, or after top dressing.

I'm now fully committed to it, as my Backstryke is being sold from Craigslist today, leaving me with just the one. I found myself playing my newer putters more as trying
to justify the purchase, and the new effect I guess, rather than going back to the 2 ball I loved.

Recently playing with a guy who had his clubs stolen and was draining everything in sight with an old putter from his garage got me to rethink things.
And I put the old 2 ball back in the bag, with virtually no practice. I was now the guy making everything (or just burning the edges) with my old faithful the last couple of rounds.

Maybe in a year or so I'll try a Seemore out if I'm feeling flush. I'll certainly try a Metal-X if they decide to come out with a centre[]-shafted version. I use a modified claw (close to what Mark O'Meara calls his "saw" version) and rely on the centre-shafted for balance in that striaght back and through motion.

White Yes Sandy 12 35". Roll is amazing easy to line up. Making more putts then I ever did before. Bounced around between multiple putters over the last few years(cameron, pings, TMs). Highly reccomend if you have SBST stroke or slight arc.

Still using my tour issue Kia Ma Monaco that I customized in the fall of 2010. Ghost white poly finish, milled sightline added, custom stampings and paintfill, heaviest weights in the back bumpers, loft at 5.5 degrees for my forward press, UST frequency filtered shaft, Certified Balance Shaft Stabilizer in grip end, E3 swingweight, Golf Pride V-Rad G Shock grip, custom white headcover.

11 one-putts first time in the bag, many a round since then in the mid-high 20 putt range.

If only I could use it off the tees and fairways!

Just put a 2012 Del Mar in last week. So far I am loving it (especially lags)

Beginning of the year I had a Circa 62 #6 (35" 4* 71*)

then

Squareback 2 (34" 4* 71*)

now

Del Mar (34" 3* 70*)

Edit: Just did some paintfill on the Del Mar. I think it came out okay.

Anser Milled custom is sinking more putts than any other putter I've owned. Backups are Redwood Anser, C&Ls and Byrons.

Im using a TM Lemans Tour 5-02 Rossa, with a Winn jumbo lite grip with the hosel bent a few degree's to the right. I love it, 33.5" in length, its a semi mallet style putter with a milled face and red Titanium insert.

I have a Ping Sedona that has been making putts in the bag.

Back up is a Ping Ti pixel anser.

Went to the Sedona because it doesn't need a head cover, one less thing to keep track of suited me just fine.

Ping Anser 2(old school) cut down 33.5" with an Super Stroke ultra slim grip. The best consistent feel than any other putter I've tried.

I'm currently gaming a Yes "Nicky" (from 2008), I reshafted it with a UST Frequency Filtered shaft and it feels wonderful. This putter sets up very well for me. It's the exact same lenght toe to heel as my irons.
