Best Irons you have ever played

Havent had many sets of Irons but my 05 RAC TP's have worked the best for me. About to try some 712 CB's

I use to play the Mizuno MX-300's and these were really nice set of sticks, until I tried the new Adams CB3's both have a great feel but the Adams feel softer IMO than the Mizuno set.

By far Ping i15s with zz-65 shafts. I like the looks of the i20 better (less offset), but didn't see any performance difference to make a change.

I keep going back to my Diablo Forged. I liked them, then I took out the Nippon uniflex and glued in some TTDG's and just love the feel in every way.

Hands down for me would be the Ping S56's!! I have played a ton of irons...mizuno, ping, callaway, tm...and I just can't get how forgiving yet beautiful and smooth they are! I have the KBS shafts in them, which are just as impressive. Great combo!

Adams CB2's, which I just got this season. Remind me of blades but mishits are still playable. I won't be changing irons for a LONG time...

Ping Eye2 Plus w/o the plus. Awesome bounce profile. Ultra confidence, and they were not nearly as fat bottomed as the rest of the Ping Eye2s. Best iron play of my life until they were stolen out of the back of my car in 1995 (no, I'm not bitter...).

Ping I3+ Blade. Best iron i've played hands down! Having been kickin myself ever since i sold mine last year, and recently putting a set back in play, i can say without reservation that the i3+ blade/dg combo is the best iron for my game.

For me it's my current set the R9TP's w/KBS tour stiff Been gaming for over a year and they aren't even close to coming out of the bag. I can't remember the last time I was in a golf store and even looked a a set of irons. And I have a Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy both withing 3 miles of the house.

Titleist 681s. on my 3rd set. However, due to Titleist not testing the 681 for conformance to the new groove rule, my next set will be the 680s. Just bought a nice used set on ebay and will probably put them into play next season.

Another vote for the tommy armour 845's. Might be because they were the irons I learned golf on, but I've always liked them. My MP 53's are pretty darn good, but even with them the long irons aren't quite perfect. They perform well, just not quite dead on with feel

I'm pretty partial to my current set. I have Cobra S3 Pro blades, 4-PW. They are matched with KBS C-Taper's and I like them a lot. Very soft feel and not all that hard to hit for a blade.

Mizuno MP 60's...i had a set for a while and last summer sold them in a fit of rage after a weekend of poor iron play, I'm on the prowl for another set right now. I really like the Ping S57's I've got now, but the MP60's were butter compared to these

Nice! Mine stil have the original Dynamic which are far to heavy and stiff for me anymore, but I've been leery about reshafting and losing the magic they had for so many years.

I hate you!! (just joking) I have been jonesing for the 680s and every time I think about going on Ebay they are none or they just got bought! I hit them before and you will freaking love them!

MP-69 combo with Adams MB2 --- long story how I ended up with that combination but I love this set.
