Who plays a PW, 54 & 60 wedge set-up??

I do, I am carrying Taylormade RAC TP Forged irons that have more traditional lofts. I carry driver, 3-wood, 2-PW, 54*, 60*.

Not it. I play a Driver, 3W, 5W, 4-PW, 50, 56, 60, and putter (of course). I like my GW (50*) and couldn't get by without it - now the 60* may not last too much longer...

I play this combo and I like it. I basically have a 20 yard carry distance on a full swing between each club.

Well I decided to make the change. Ordered a 54/12 Tour S blue dot and a 60/10 Tour S blue dot with the T grind. Ordered them both with ZZ65 shafts to match my s56's as well. Love that shaft. Had it in Ping wedges before and loved it then.

Keep your eyes on the BST soon. Some nice Ping stuff going up from my sig. 2 wedges, 3w and 2h are all on the chopping block as replacements are on the way.

I have played 54 and 60 for a while now. I like it because I can hit the 54 anywhere from 115 to 90 yards pretty confidently. I don't like to take a full swing with a high lofted wedge but I like the extra loft around the greens and the ability to spin it pretty good from 75 and in. really 54 and 58 or 60 are both good setups imo if you are confident taking something off with your PW.

What about a 56/12 bent to 57/13 and leave your 52 as it is?

That would give you the bounce you need and as long as the trailing edge of the 56 (57) has relief, you could still open it up for higher lofted shots.

perfect yardage gaps and couldn't be happier...

i played a pw (47*), 54* and 60* setup for a number of years. i alternated between using the 54* and 60* in the sand. the setup was successful, however i had yardage gap problems between the pw and 54* and had a tendency to try and get too cute with the 60*. i had picked up a set of the original nike forged wedges cheap - 53*, 58* and 60*. i found the 58* to be a great sand wedge, and while i liked the nike wedges, i prefered the vokeys, so went and got a 52* and 58* and haven't looked back since. the 52* covers the yardage gap for me and the 58* does everything i need out of the sand and around the green.

MP-62s with a 54 and 60. The 54 gets most of the greenside work, while the 60 is used primarily from the bunkers. Whenever I have an in-between yardage, I just grip down on the longer club.

I carry a 54-60 sm 4 vokey. Issues arrives only with stopping power on 60 when i need loft on firm greens.
