First time working on my own clubs, check out my babies!

These are my Mizuno MP-68's 4-W KBS Tour X (waiting on a new shaft for the 3 iron) and my Mizuno MPT 10 52*, 54*, & 60* wedges. I've always wanted to work on my own clubs and finally got the courage up and gave it a shot, wasn't as difficult as I though it would be. Oh, and Roll Tide!!!

Sweet, was that one of the special ones they produced or is that custom? I know they did a few Cleveland wedges in a similar fashion.

I made it. Used a loomis true temper shaft with the bama overlay. Because of the putter head used and I use a 32" putter I needed to trim the tip. Was very difficult after trimming to keep the overlay from peeling off the shaft. The shaft isn't meant to be tipped and explains why you can't put bama shafts on the whole ironset. Loomis offers the wedge/putter with a true temper $30 or the driver graphit at $100. Made more sense for me to do the putter instead of a wedge or driver cause every hole I will use a putter.

You have to remove the shaft. A butane torch will do it just fine. It's much easier than you think. I have white ferrules on my Titliest ZM blades. Just had orange ones come in so I'm thinking of switching!

I just googled it. I have a buddy that does it for a living and he told me which epoxy to get, and from there it was really simple. Just a butane torch, clamp, and something to pull the head without damaging it.

NIce work! I may have to look into that, don't really want it in a wedge or driver but it looks pretty sweet in that putter.

I've got some i20's and finally have clubs with ferrules so I kind of want to do something a little flashy.

Looks really nice. i would love to put in a set of white with blue stripes for my new JPX800's. I dont have the guts to try this out myself.

It's a lot easier than you guys think. Hell I pull and assemble all of my irons/wedges and do so without a vice or clamp, just butane torch and an ov glove haha.

Great looking clubs! You did a nice job!! I played golf the other day with a guy that did a set for himself and for his wife. It's nice that you can give them your own personal look. I'm impressed and may give it a try some day. Good going!!!!!!

I haven't they were almost flush when I put them on and didn't see any reason to mess with them. They fit extremely tight and are very well made. Just took them out yesterday for the first time to hit them and loved it!
