I have started walking more and decided to try a pair of spikeless golf shoes.  I really liked the look and comfort of the Asics Gel-Course Ace golf shoes.  In dry conditions their grip is surprisingly good, but there is a tendency to slip if the tee box is damp and you are swinging all out.

Those are great shoes!  My absolute favorite when I know I've got a long, hilly walk ahead of me and it's dry out.

 

Just got these ones in from the bay, I've had a saved search for my size for a while and a good price used pair in a nice style finally hit.  Supportive and comfy and I love to wear grey...

I have those exact shoes in blue. Love them and very comfortable. I don't have a problem with slippage in morning dew, but I'm not exactly a 100 mile an hour swinger. Another very comfortable shoe with good traction is the True Link Sport Lux.

Caved in and bought after debating whether or not to get them. No regrets. They’re beautiful in person.

Picked up some new kicks to add to the rotation. Some Ecco Biom H4’s and some True Lux Sports. Of course it snowed 10” the day before they both arrived and has barely gotten above 40 deg so neither have been on course or to range yet…but both are very comfortable in the mandatory “around the house” test.

When it comes to golf finds, look no further than OfferUp. I was able to pick up some Nike react vapor spiked golf shoes that were gently used, practically new for $15. These days Burlington and Ross are pretty empty when it comes to golf finds so OfferUp has been my resource and I decided to go with this classic. Best investment of the year so far

I felt compelled to do a follow up here on the True’s for the sake of my fellow wrx’ers….these are def in the top 3 most

comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn….and I’m not just talking golf….I mean like all shoes I’ve ever owned. They’re that good…

After reading several posts about golf pants from Target here, I decided to order a pair of All In Motion's.    They seem to run fairly true to size and are not "boxy" from the knee to the ankle...a nice taper.  They have just the right amount of stretch for me.  These may make the Florida trip next week for a round on a cool morning or dinner in the evening.
