Golf Style and Accessories - Pick Up thread, what's your latest item?

I am preparing for the inevitable cold-weather Kansas golf, so picked up a new jacket. I can't say enough good things about the adidas ClimaHeat Concept Fill Jacket.

 

 

I had been eyeing it for a few months, and then I saw Jason Day rocking it at The Open Championship.

The body is a medium-weight quilted pattern. The sleeves are a flexible, stretchy, DriFit type fabric with fleece backing. It is a little slimmer fitting, which I prefer. I went with the same size I normally wear in adidas pullovers. It is crazy to say, but I'm actually looking forward to the temperatures dropping a little. Fall golf is the best!

 

Just got myself the black one for the Scottish Autunmnal weather, fabulous jacket and I may have to get the grey one also. Pity that they don't do a navy or a royal blue

I picked up this PitchFix divot tool....I had to figure out how to take the ball marker off at first. There is a small indent under the coin at the 12;00 position and it slides off. After I learned that..I liked it. Besides, it opens like a switch blade!!!

I'm on my second one of these. Just a tip - blow into it after fixing a divot. Dirt likes to get stuck inside of it and it will eventually cause it to break. If you blow into it, you can remove some of the dirt and make it last longer.

My most recent accessory is geared towards playing more golf

Picked up an Arm Lock Golf Converter AL2 17" grip. The bore in the grip is angled in such a way to account for the extra loft needed so any putter can be converted into an arm lock. This may be a true "game changer."

I wanted to hold out the two dot JDM 3-wood, but I got this at a great deal with the Diamana BB Shaft, I can't wait to get this baby on the course (look out par 5's Big Daddy's back)

 

 

I am finding that I prefer non-adjustable hosels.

One more purchase to go, a Vapor speed 5 wood with the BB shaft x-stiff to fail the missing 14th slot (see below) and then I'll be all set for next season.

I just received my Best Grips custom embroidered putter shoe and D grip!

I have to say, Zach absolutely nailed my vision for the putter shoe! The Tiffany blue color is stunning and the cherry blossom (Sakura) color is spot on. The symbols are Kanji for peace and patience. Zach at Best Grips was awesome to work with - he mocked up the design from my description and it turned out great. Personal service was great - he sent a hand written note with the set.

My son is fluent in Japanese and our daughter-in-law is of Japanese heritage, so I wanted something in the bag to remind me of them.

My daughter also highland dances, so now thinking Scottish tartan with Tiffany blue in the tartan to finish the head covers. My goal is a truly "international" bag to represent my kids!
