They're sitting in the garage waiting for their turn again. One set of irons I will never part with.
Tried S56, CB2s and now have mp53's but the A4s are always at the ready. Even have the GW, SW, and LW to match!

I've got a set of A4 Tours and I can't fault them. I expect they will stay in the bag for quite a while yet.

I am still playing the Adams a4 irons and hitting them well. I believe this is my 4th season with them. I learned many years ago that it is the Indian and not the arrow when it comes to my iron play. They fit my swing and to be honest, I don't feel like technology has changed in irons the last 5 years. It's fun to get new clubs, but I don't think they would be better and help me score...they might be shiny and new but that is about all new clubs would do for me.

I would have loved to have a set of the originals. Adams released a set of A4-R irons a year or two back.. They were cast and not forged as the originals.

Sweet looking irons they were. I once saw Tom Watson game them at some Senior Tour event. Love Tom Watson!

I have been playing these irons ever since they came out, and cannot get them out of the bag. I have tried ping s56, mizuno jpx pros, mizuno mp59, titleist ap2 and so on. I cannot find anything better. Is there anyone else still playing these clubs.

They are sitting in the garage right now. I actually pulled a couple to take to the range as I think they will get the call once again. Great irons!! I replaced them with the Diablo forged and while I like them, they just don't have the feel that the Adams do.

I just got a set of Adams cb3 irons, but I still have the A4's waiting in the wings if they don't perform well. I was able to get the satin finish A4's before they quit making them thru DD's 3-pw and then bought a gw and satinized it to match my set. I never hit the 3 iron and wound up selling it on EBay about a year ago for $90. I have been tinkering with shafts in my A4's and have tried s300 (sensicore) PX 5.5 satins (hardstepped) True Temper Black Golds (harsh shaft) and currently have a set of Nippon 1150 gh tours (SST pured). The best feeling of those is by far the Nippons but they spin too much, so that is the reason for the current cb3's.

Put mine back in play yesterday love them so much I bought the CB3 and like them but will probably sell them and always keep the A4 just wish they was newer this is the third or fourth year I've used them. Guess I'll use them till they wear out. Maybe Adams will make a set like these again.

I've heard people say that before but I like the cb3 better than the two and the A4's are better than both imo

Still in the bag. I've thought about other clubs but, in the end, I know that they are still the right irons for me. However, I found the hybrids to be awful and replaced them after one season. Also, I wish that I had the GW, seeing as the PW is 45*. The strong lofts caused me to get TWO gap wedges (48* & 52*).

I used iron covers for 2 seasons and they looked brand new coming into this season. About four rounds ago, I pulled off the iron covers to let them live a little. They are finally getting some chatter and bruises but the resale value would have been next to nothing anyhow... I'll play them for a few more seasons, I reckon.

I have the GW and LOVE it. I wish I had the 4 iron. If you can find a GW, jump on it. It's money!

Mine are still in play.

I agree that the hybrids aren't as nice. I have a love/ hate relationship with them, but it's hard to know what to replace them with given th lof f the 5 iron is 26 degrees

I think I have the A4 4 and 5 irons just sitting in my garage. PM me if you're interested in working something out.
Edit, I just have a 5 iron, not a 4.

Just luv my A4 forged...had em longer than any iron set by far....might consider the CMB...but they would really have to be phenomenal to unseat the A4...

Tease!!! I already have the 5. Didn't like the hybrids but my son did. Took them from me the day they arrived.

OP try some Taylor made RBZ's or Burners I feel those are most similar to Adams

I did not get the hybrids, i have 4-gw. I agree if you can find the gw get it.

There is some talk about the mathcing hybrids. I actually went with the A4 OS hybrids to match my A4 irons. I liked the OS version better for my swing. Still playing the whole set.
