Chelso played stupid good, to beat Danny who just tore up Newport the weekend before is an acomplishment... She played well again didn't expect anything less though from her. They set the course with no jokes though windy wet and longish, good test

I went to 5 or 6 Megan's tournaments this year, caddied in one of them, and saw Chelso and Megan play in a tournament at the Boston Club. Great course. :-)

Great meeting everyone and seeing some familiar faces. Thanks so much to Taylor for organizing & Brian for hosting us; I can't wait to participate in other events in the near future.

Anytime, Adam - I'm glad we could all get out before the storm. Maybe we can put together an informal outing in the next few weeks! Keep an eye on the thread.. I'm thinking it might happen soon.

The Outing was a blast. Ty Taylor
The Course was outstanding; I wish I can play it again on a dry day. Ty Brian
Message me about the next outing and if anyone is interested playing together before the next outing let me know.

Thanks for making it out, Matt - we'll all have to get out again when the conditions are less... "European?".

Keep an eye on the thread, there might be something (albeit, less formal) soon!

Had a great time. Thanks again to Taylor for organizing the outing and to Brian for being such a gracious host. Looking forward to doing this again.

Thanks for making the hike from CT, George. I hope Sandy didn't treat you too badly on the drive back!

Something less formalized may be in the works soon, so keep a lookout!

Good time followed by great course. I had a wonderful time... wasnt pushed and was able to take our time enjoying the course and the fall "I know my ball is over here somewhere" foliage.

Thanks for the invite and the opportunity.

Thanks for joining! I'm already eyeing a daytrip down to RI for some golf... maybe Newport National. We'll just have to make sure it's not on a "liberal leave" day - I bet that place gets packed then.

I look forward to teeing it up with you soon!

Unless it's this Sunday, I won't be able to make it (busy the following two weekends). And I would think that's too short of notice to find a good tee time for a group more than 4.

Sandy was a lot like my tee shots on Sunday, wild and hit alot of trees hard.

But seriously, we were very fortunate at our house, but one neighbor has suffered MAJOR damage to over half of her home (tree fell through it length wise). The town still is 70% without power.

Really enjoyed playing with KC, Matt & Adam and hope to get out with everyone again. If the opportunity presents itself again, I'd love to give The Pines another run. That was without a doubt, my worst performance off the tee all year; I don't think I hit one fairway and I missed time and again to the wrong side for the approach. Tough on the GIR stats when you don't even have a look.

It has been almost 3 years since the last Outing I attended. Any interest in meeting up and playing another round of golf? We should plan to have a drink together this time around.

    • In-hand photos of 2023 TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus, Stealth 2, Stealth 2 HD drivers + fairways woods
Check out our front page launch stories here and here.

What you need to know: For the first time, carbon is the most prevalent material by volume in a TaylorMade driver, and more carbon equals better performance, says the company. Last year, TaylorMade debuted a 60X Carbon Twist Face. With TaylorMade Stealth 2, engineers are bringing carbon to more of the golf club — and unveiling a new-and-improved Carbon Twist Face in the process. Stealth 2 Plus (low spin, most workable) Stealth 2, and Stealth 2 HD (draw bias, high launch, most forgiving) drivers make up the Stealth 2 family.

What you need to know: Breakthrough movable weight technologies and versatile designs are the hallmarks of the 2023 TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway woods. Stealth 2 Plus is branded as “three fairway woods in one” owing to the unique performance characteristics afforded by the 50-gram sole weight. Stealth 2 features a slightly lower profile 3D carbon crown than Stealth. This moves CG down and away from the toe with more weight in the rear of the club for higher launch and MOI. Ultra-high MOI Stealth 2 HD features an oversized 200cc head and low-profile sole, creating an easy-to-hit, draw-biased club.
