"That" guy on the range

Had an encounter with "that guy" yesterday. Middle aged guy, with a tour looking mizuno polo on, I say tour because it had sponsor logos all over it. He then had on a matching mizzy visor, Adidas shorts, the ones with the three stripes and the matching Adidas white belt. He came strolling out to the range just oozing confidence, just standing there standing at the other golfers as if we were the new king of the hill. He had a few items with him, a Scotty Cameron putter, a wedge of some sort and a note pad. Oh I forgot to mention he was not wearing golf shoes but what appeared to be an older pair of new balance tennis shoes....at this point I'm already hoping he lacks any type of talent and just thinking about this thread so needless to say I now have 80% of my focus on this guy...well he takes a nice warm up session to the normal hip thrusts, butt waggles and jumping jacks....he now proceeds to start his pre shot routine. I am assuming he just came from the bar inside the club, I say this because they were of course showing the Ryder cup and this guy was waggling more then Jason dufner. So I am assuming he saw the waggles on tv and decided to give it a try. Ok here we go, I'm standing by with great anticipation as he starts his back swing, he smacks the ball and let's out what sounded like a female tennis player "uhhhhhyyyy" after the swing. To no surprise the ball doesn't even roll to the first flag...without missing a beat the mans walks over to his notepad and starts jotting down something, assuming swing notes. This continues for a few minutes, and even the lady next to him is staring in amazement. I of course at this point decided it was time to go and walked by him where he gave me that cool guy head nod which I politely returned. Another great day at the range!

Maybe he lost a bet. Or is doing it in a sarcastic/ironic fashion.

Everyone on this forum is quick to point out sample size when testing 3 mud balls on trackman.

So 1 time does not make a trend.

Here is a list of goofy stuff I've had to do on a golf course usually due to a lost bet.

- take a shot with pants down (multiple times)
- take every shot like a female tennis player (a little scream on every swing including the driving range)
- wear a kilt (supposed to be skirt but a compromise was met).
- goofy clothing like above

I'm sure there are more but on a normal day you'd never recognize me on the course.
