I second this question. Please show the lefty love. After my recent r11s purchase, I'm considering going all TM with my next set!

Is that notch on the hosel of the Tour version for lie adjustment purposes?

Also - it looks like the AW to the set is a completely different design than the rest of the clubs - any comments on that?

Thanks!

Several manufacturers are using this same style of Cavity Back morphed into a type of Blade, yet you choose a much more traditional style of blade for the Wedges in the set, what was the thinking behind that and what is the benefit to the Cavity Blade Style or Muscle Back Blade style that the rest of the set is made up of?

My question is: How you guys can do ugly club with useless technology and be the #1 golf company? Nice marketing. Hope to see good looking club like old tp version from TM late this year!

With the possibility of damage to the speed slot during a shot for certain lie conditions (ie: firmer than normal conditions, pebbles/small rocks , bare dirt etc.), How does that affect playability if the integrity of speed slot is compromised? Will the warranty cover this or a similar type of incident?

Thanks TM!

1.) With regards to the 8-PW not containing a speed slot, what or how did TM make up the difference in yardage gaps, especially the leap from 7 iron to 8iron? Is there new technology in the 8-PW or is it just the ICT?

2.) If you are already a high ball hitter, why should someone consider changing to the Rocketbladz? Seems too much height could be a negative, with loss of distance and fighting winds.

Thanks for doing this once again TMAG!

Why did you guys decide to go with a yellow accent colour and not stick with the RBZ green?

Does the slot have a greater affect on the wear of the face when looking into durability, because of increased flex of the face?

What kind of ball would pair well with the new RocketBladez Tour iron to maintain consistent distances and feel? Are their certain ball characteristics which fit best with the ICT and the Speed Pocket? Three layer urethane or a two piece? Will you be releasing a completely new ball to pair with this iron?

[sup]here's my question:[/sup]
[sup]last year you all hyped on the swing weight screw and how this would make perfect swing weights and place weight right behind the sweet spot instead of weights in the hosel, with these new irons, less than 1 yr later, there is no swing weight screw. so how are you now acheiving proper swing weights especially with all the custom shafts that are offered?[/sup]
[sup]if the swing weight screw was so innovative, why is not incorporated in your new lineup?[/sup]
[sup]I'm curious because i went and got my TP MC/MB set and am worried about hosel weights moving the cg in these new irons..[/sup]
[sup]thx[/sup]

Never cared what an iron looks like except from the sole up (playability) and the top down (confidence). The back is irrelevant to looks as long as it is engineered to give the CG placement its proper location for performance.

Having said that, when did the notion to react to the "outcry" for a more forgiving, less offset club with clean looks come about? I know that TM people were listening to GolfWRX members and posts, so what made the time now to bring an entry like this to the market?

In the past it was always that there wasnt a market for this type of club. Thank goodness that it is soon here.

CEO Mark King mentioned face flexion or trampoline effect...does the speed pocket tech lead to an increase in COR across the face? If so, how much versus other Taylormade offerings?

With words like “trampoline effect” being used in describing this pocket speed innovation is there a concern about violating the rules or the spirit of the rules with regard to the COR ruling? In other words is it likely that this technology will be seen as a loophole to thwart that ruling?

Since the tour model of the Rocketbladez isn't forged, is the polymer fill in the speed slot creating a softened feel that more closely resembles a forged club?

I noticed that Sean O'Hair says that they feel forged in his video, so I'm wondering if it has to do with the polymer or with the soft casting and advancements in that process.

Thanks WRX and TM!!

Hello TaylorMade Team,

first of all thanks for your amazing products and your even more amazing cutting edge advertising skills ;)

I have one short question. As it has been already demonstrated, your new Rocketbladez are above all (of course, they are #freakishlylonger, too) freaklishly consistent. Although I am not really able to understand the reason (a more flexing face or trampolin effect should, at least to me, favor a greater dispersion as the ball gets bounced around depending on where on the clubface you hit the ball) it seems to be fact. Well, what I´d like to know now, how is the speed pocket going to influence workability or, to be more precise, the consistency of non straight shots? It seems to me as if a more flexible clubface should promote inconsistency on non-straight shots. I tend to hit draws (unintendedly -.-) and I´d like to know what impacts the speedpocket will have on the consistency of such shots.

Thanks in advance!
