Thank you for taking our questions. I'd love the chance to demo and review a set of the Rocketbladez Tours. They're beautiful!

My question: It seems that with the speed pocket in the 3,4 irons and the KBS Tour Shafts, the workability AND forgiveness in a tour style club is everything solid ballstrikers would dream of. Do you foresee the return of long irons to the bags of amateurs golfers or do you recommend 5-PW plus a couple hybrids for the typical golf enthusiast?

As a person in the industry that will have to do fittings for these irons (assuming a lot of fittings given the hype!). I'm wondering what is the ideal spin we should look to maximize distant for players with these irons? Has it changed with the slot being added? Does it stay the same? Will a player benefit more by playing a lighter shaft with this club as the industry seems to be pushing or go heavier. I for one know that it would be a great benefit to have materials to show the public. Look Taylormade says try to get these spin numbers average joe consumer and the Rocketbladez will be maximized for you. Thanks for your time.

So the atv wedge has a similar striped pattern on the back but it's red and black. For the Rocketbladez it's gold and black? Why didn't you stick with black and red? Because of my OCD I'll have to paint that if i get them....

I read on your page that the sole of the wedges will feature the atv sole..... Is it going to be 'like' an upgraded atv wedge? How will they be different? What will be in individual price then?

For TaylorMade Golf irons, what would you say the biggest innovative breakthrough is? I'm going to be quite honest, I've never owned TaylorMade irons, but have owned a few of the woods. The only iron I've tried is the TM Tour Preferred MB, which were quite good. To elaborate on the question, with so many new TM products/competitors' products coming out year after year, do you see these RocketBladez irons being a new industry standard in terms of a GI club that suits both amateur and professional golfers?

Thanks!

I've come across numerous posts that talk about these irons being easier to bend that their cast counterparts.

My question:

In terms of their willingness to bend without breaking, how do these irons compare to other cast irons and also forged irons as well?

Thanks very much for your time!

Thanks TM!

I keep reading the speed slot technology initially worked so good that you guys had to scale it back to keep things in control? If so is there any chance we could see say a 1 or 2 iron that matches the set, but that unleashes all the potential of the speed slot for max distance and forgiveness off the tee or deck? I would love to see what this technology could do when maxed out. I think this would be fantastic for someone like me who just doesn't feel as comfortable with a hybrid, but love the forgiveness they provide over a long iron.

Thanks for the chance to ask some questions. Long time Nike player who has made the switch from Nike to Taylormade.

Question:
Its been some time since the R9 TP irons were released and they are still a fan favorite. I was wondering if you (Taylormade) thinks the RocketBladez Tour version will be the long awaited replacement?

Thanks for the time. Have a great week.

What will be the standard shaft offering in the tour model and what others will be available with/without upcharge? I plan to get fully fitted for my next set of clubs and will be taking a look at these as long as the sole and top line aren't too thick/chunky looking.

    • In-hand photos of 2023 TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus, Stealth 2, Stealth 2 HD drivers + fairways woods
Check out our front page launch stories here and here.

What you need to know: For the first time, carbon is the most prevalent material by volume in a TaylorMade driver, and more carbon equals better performance, says the company. Last year, TaylorMade debuted a 60X Carbon Twist Face. With TaylorMade Stealth 2, engineers are bringing carbon to more of the golf club — and unveiling a new-and-improved Carbon Twist Face in the process. Stealth 2 Plus (low spin, most workable) Stealth 2, and Stealth 2 HD (draw bias, high launch, most forgiving) drivers make up the Stealth 2 family.

What you need to know: Breakthrough movable weight technologies and versatile designs are the hallmarks of the 2023 TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway woods. Stealth 2 Plus is branded as “three fairway woods in one” owing to the unique performance characteristics afforded by the 50-gram sole weight. Stealth 2 features a slightly lower profile 3D carbon crown than Stealth. This moves CG down and away from the toe with more weight in the rear of the club for higher launch and MOI. Ultra-high MOI Stealth 2 HD features an oversized 200cc head and low-profile sole, creating an easy-to-hit, draw-biased club.
