Maxfli Revolution Black Dot. Been in the bag a long time. Very simple cavity back, with great soft feel.

same here...I'm guessing 10 years or so. Still going strong but they are really starting to show there age.

Its my backup set now...maybe I should break them out again..great clubs...Maxfli was a great company until Taylormade came along and screwed it all up...

10.5 deg Titleist 905R with stock UST Proforce V2 Shaft (Stiff flex)
Titleist 990 (3-PW) with stock Dynamic Gold in S300
Taylormade V-Steel 5W & 3W with Grafalloy Prolaunch Red shafts (Regular Flex)
2011 Adams Tom Watson signature wedges in 52 and 56 degrees with stock steel shafts (Player's Grind)
Rife Island Series Aruba Blade Putter

"Loft for loft, length for length, and shaft for shaft, the ball will go the same distance when hit on the sweet spot regardless how old the iron."

Ditto about TM screwing up Maxfli. I'm still gaming the last iteration of the Australian Blades - best irons I've ever used. Got a 905R in the bag too - only swap that out for the 905S when I'm really flushing it

Just reworked the whole bag before that I was gaming Gunmetal TA3s, guess i been playing them since 2001. They are sitting on the work bench shafts pulled and thinking about putting my TC tour concepts in them or thinking about getting a set of C taper in them and going back to them i like my Mizzys but those irons are the standard for me.Driver changes about every two years. Vokey wedges just been switched to TVDs, before that it was 900 series Clevelands and would still be playing them but the grooves are gone :swoon:. This year i also switched to a scotty putter before that it was an old Callaway TT2 Blue. befor the winter season is over i probably be back in my Clevelands. Oh and still playing Adams Pro Golds, just with new shafts, cant let them go best hybirds ever.

No offense intended to anyone here, but I find it hilarious that someone thinks a club from six years ago is "old." :D

I really really love my 1963 Hogan IPT irons. I highly recommend them and the other blade on blade ones like the "PC" of similar age. The chrome on them is still flawless. The only down side is the knife like leading edge can slip balls when it is cold out (might do damage when warm but not spit cover) The heads are about 1/4" shorter than a Mizuno MP-30 but I still hit them very well.

So if someone out there gets a good deal on "old" pre cavity back clubs do not feel that they are inferior and unplayable. Keep in mind the best players in golf history used them.

I also am preferring a 60's Louisville Grand Slam putter.
And believe it or not vintage real woods are still in my bag quite often with my Callaway metal woods in the basement.

Yonex, original Tour Forged, not ADX, 5-10, PW, SW and 60 degree PM lob wedge, with TT DG Lite shafts with Sensicore inserts. The only club with positive bounce is the SW. I have to really focus on sweeping the ball and not getting it too deep. These clubs are cavity backs but not nearly as forgiving as more modern designs. They definitely let you know how you have mishit a shot.

Hello all

With all of the money poured into advertising and product marketing these days, I am curious to know if there are any players out there who rely on "older" equipment to get the job done? For me, I'm having fun playing my vintage but refinished MP-14 irons. I'm about one club shorter with them but I hit them well, so why not??? LOL.

14's are probly my favorite iron ever produced i would love to game these things again! it been at least ten years since my last time i did!
