Up until about 3 months ago I was gaming Callaway X-14 pro series irons (got them in 2001) and a Cleveland Launcher 460 driver (got it in 2005).

I just picked up a mint set of Cally X14s 4-SW, no gap wedge with graphite shafts yesterday at goodwill. Paid 12 bucks for the entire 8 piece set. These sticks were well taken care. I'd feel guilty if I flipped them on ebay for 100 bucks so I'm going to find a kid at my local track in need of some irons. Hardly any scratches and the grips look almost new. My guess is whoever owned them wasn't a golfer and they were probably given to him and they just sat in his garage for 12 years. Loll

We'll see, last year I was still gaming my 2004 SMT DB 455 driver. I have put it against many competitors and its win out. I just got a Covert 2.0 Tour, so that might be the end. I had a set of i3+ blades until the XHP knocked those out. My bag has gotten scarily modern and OEM, I don't know how I feel about it.

Yes, orig. Ping Anser putter, Orig. Ping Eye 2 SW ( my new LW), Wilson Staff JP II SW ( my new GW). Found both wedges on the bay and both have faces/ grooves that appear to have not seen a golf ball outdoors.. no marks on them at all. Now have all V grooved irons in the bag. Working on getting WITB posted this week.

Oh boy. I haven't bought new equipment for a while. I did get a new set of ping anser forged irons this winter but returned them after a few poor trips at the indoor range. I did bag a new Odyssey protype #9 putter that I'm very excited about.

Ping Rapture v2 9°
Tight Lies Tour 15° (from the early 00s when tight lies originally released)
Adams Idea 19° (2007, I hate this club, 50/50 greatness or snap hook)
Titleist DCI 990 3-pw

Vokey wedges are only 4 seasons old. Picked up a new Callaway MD2 52.12 wedge that I'm super excited for after comparing it to the vokey sm4 on the simulator. I have a Cameron Pro Platinum New Port Mid Slant from 2000 that has been in the bag every year till this.

a couple of Tisi Tec's are in my bag for now ....
I've been using the Ping Ti Tec fairways (3, 5 and occasionally the 7 wood) the past two seasons, and haven't found anything I like better.

I also have a STX Sync 4 putter that's been in-and-out of the rotation for years, and my "B" bag includes copper Zing irons and a Ti Tec driver ... all pre-2006 equipment.

Bagged my old 19* Cleveland Quadpro for the last two rounds as I'm trying to decide whether to move toward a diff hybrid or maybe a 7 wood. Pulled my XHP hybrid and tried Jetspeed, SLDR hyb. No go. Considering SLDR 5HL or i25 hyb. But for now, my Quadpro is holding its place firmly.

I flip flop between ping g2 and S59 irons. I also game a tour w wedge, rapture v2 driver. All 2002ish. I also game a 90's hogan magnum plus sand wedge. Makes chipping and sand shots effortless

I still play Wilson Staff Pi5's (came out in 2006). Everytime I go to look for new ones I always end up looking for something that sets up the same or very close so I don't see the point in replacing them.
Hello all

With all of the money poured into advertising and product marketing these days, I am curious to know if there are any players out there who rely on "older" equipment to get the job done? For me, I'm having fun playing my vintage but refinished MP-14 irons. I'm about one club shorter with them but I hit them well, so why not??? LOL.
I'm playing King Cobra SS-I Oversized, 3-LW (2003), although I wouldn't say I'm getting the job done :). They're fine, but they need to be reshafted at least. I like them well enough; they were my first real sticks. But I'm definitely willing to upgrade should the opportunity present itself.

I have been playing a set of Mizuno MP-30's that I got at a yard sale last year. Also still playing an odessy White Steel Putter from 2004. I still keep a Ping G2 as my backup driver.
