im looking at one too. about 125.00. wondering difference between ad 40 stiff and matrix 5.1 regular? for 125 it looks pretty nice, have always liked their stuff

I know this is bumping an old thread but I got one recently in 9.0 with a HD6.1 stiff and found it performed best in U setting with ball forward in the stance. I find it too low launching I other settings, but with this setting and setup it goes high enough and long. Anyone else find the U setting to be higher launching? Or can anyone explain why upright setting in any driver would give higher launch?

I had followed this od thread because these drivers are being closed out at a pretty good price. To answer playa, I also found the u setting to be higher launching. I do play the ball a little forward also. I have enjoyed this club, don't particularly like the sound but the performance is good. It was a step up for me from a Cleveland Dst. By the way mine is a 10.5 with the regular Matrix shaft which fits my swing speed fairly well.
