I own both a 2h and a 3h with the RCH Reg Flex Shaft. I am very impressed with this club. It's great off the tee, off the fairway, and in the rough.you can hit it on the toe and the ball still goes rather straight with just a loss of distance. Hit it on the sweet spot and the ball takes off. I purchased the 2h to replace my 5W b/c I wasn't very consistent with it and always would be concerned if my ball was going to be 200y down the fairway or 160 in the woods? I was so happy with the results, I pulled my 3 iron out of my bag and put a 3h in.

I demo'ed these against the Ben Hogan CFT's, both a great clubs, but I just liked the feel of the Callaway's SS Head vs the Hogan Ti Insert.

If you don't have one (or more) in your bag, what are you waiting for?

Thanks,

Great hybrid club. Real easy to hit and particulary good out of rough. Never found the TaylorMade Rescue Mid that good out of rough but this is great.

I love Callaway and this club is crap.. I play a draw and I can not hit a draw if I try. It is set up open and i push it every single time.. Maybe I have the wrong shaft in it. Let me know what shaft you guys have.

I own a set of Callaway Big Bertha irons (2006 version), and they are the 4th or 5th set of Callaway irons I have owned over the years. I seem to upgrade every 2nd year or so. I think their irons are awesome.

I play Callaway fairway woods and Tour sand wedges as well.

What I am saying is that I am a loyal Callaway consumer.

But, their Heavenwood is just a piece of sh*t. I slice them or I hook them, can't hit them straight. They hit high and low, at will. I can't control them at all. And, I hit their irons nice and high with a soft draw, same with the fairway woods, and I hit them consistently the same, swing after swing. I am a 6 handicap. But the Heavenwood is the worst golf club they have ever come out with. I am very disappointed n it.

But, I am postponing a Hybrid buying decison until I hit the new FT Callaway Hybrids that were just released. I am still willing to give Callaway the benefit of the doubt and hope the FT's are in line with the quality I have come to expect from them.

Hey man, I'm the dude

I had the 2H in RCH firm.

Things I liked:

the sound was very a clean - sharp "dink"

Sets up very pretty, you would think you couldn't miss.

Things I didn't like:

I couldn't hit it!

No matter what i did this kept slicing, I tried the reg flex and had the same results.

This is not for everyone so I tried a titeist 503h and got a straight swap. I was releived. Some people just prefer the feel of the Iron type hybrid.

Had this club and couldn't hit it--see if this sounds familiar: Stock stiff shaft, ball went right, left, anywhere but straight. Switched to iRod stiff and ball went right but never left. Just couldn't seem to develop any feel with the club.

And I qualify this with the fact I am a loyal Callaway person: Driver, 3 wood, irons, wedges.

Probably my swing, not their club, however, the thing never made the ball jump.

Despite all the negative reviews about this club. I really have loved this club for the month i've had it now. It is very forgiving from the rough, bad lies, bunkers, etc..., i like its low profile, and it is also good to use off the tee on a tight hole, or short par 4. A solid club, and i liked it more then the FT-3 even!

I have both the 3h and 4h and they are the most consistent clubs in my bag. i hit a nice high draw with them. The sound of these clubs is the loudest most tinny, disgusting metalic ping sound of any club I have ever heard. However, I still use them...they are that good. I am going to stick some dynamat on the back of the sole to take care of the sound. It should't make any noise then. (dynamat is the stuff they line the trunks and doors of the hoopty cars (the ones with tons of speakers) so they don't rattle).

I am a Callaway fairway wood fan (SHIII, BB 2004) so I bought a 5h with uniflex to expand my comfort zone. Idea was to replace the 4i maybe the 5i. It sucks. probably my swing but with my other clubs I at least know where it will start out, not this one. i have really tried to like it, probably given it 9 months in and out of the bag. Biggest fault is straight right.

Yup. It's not the club. It's your swing. :aggressive:

5 Stars First Hybrid i have been able to use have tried 585, 503h, dua,l Mid, fusion but the heavenwood is like a cheat stick every shot high and baby fade which is just what i like. I play the 3h 20degree model with the standard firm flex shaft which i will be getting changed to a pro launch x flex. The club carries 240 yards off the tee and 230 off the floor. Would recommend to everyone. Sounds like a driver which is also very pleasing.

Top club.

I'll chime in on this one. I play the 2h, 3h, 4h Heavenwoods all firm flex. I don't carry a 3 or 5 wood nor a 3 or 4 iron which allows me to carry 4 wedges. I play to a 4 handicap.

I hit the 2h better and longer then any 3 wood I've owned in the past, and I've owned a few.

The 3h is my go to 200-220 "carry over water" club. I feel very confident with this club and always expect good results.

The 4h was a easy choice to replace my harder to hit long irons.

I had purchased a couple callaway x hybrids but still like the Heavenwoods better. I seem to push the X's a little but put a nice little draw on the Heavenwoods. I also tend to draw ever other club in my bag.

These clubs are worth at least a try if you're looking for a little forgiveness.

I have the 2 and 4...these are incredible.. far away the best for my swing. I hit a slight draw (5 yards) with each of these. The only complaint is I can't carry the 2 much farther than the 4 (carry 205 or so) but with the lower ball flight it rolls forever...235 or so. In a recent tournament with shorter fairways I was hitting the 2 hybrid 250 off the tees consistently. I put a 4 wood for long carries over water and deeper face for rough. I will be buying a 3 heavenwood to play 4 wood, 3 and 4 heavenwood. Heavenwoods are great off the tee and fairway. Note for others...I play to a 2.9 index and have a load the shaft pretty hard but the firm RCH stock shaft is perfect for me. I have tried the NV hybrid with these and hated it. I'm hoping with the 3 Hybrid Ill be able to carry the ball 218 to space them out better.

Just back from the range, first time with the Heavenwood #3 , 20* with firm Callaway graphite shaft. I got it for free by buying an iron set on Ebay. This thing fits my swing perfectly. It goes low and very long. But, don't buy this as a 200y club as I expected I would get from it. In general, hybrids in 20 or 21 degrees give me 200-210 yards. This one hits low and goes 230-240 with no effort. I compare it to my old Taylormade Rescue Mid #2 16 degrees, same flight and distance, more than my Taylormade V-Steel 5 wood which goes 225-230y!
