So what do you guys think about Papago hosting..

Papago hosting a monthly Golfwrx game? They hit up myself and oneputtblunder on twitter, said we should come out once a month?

 

Would anyone be interested in doing a monthly Golfwrx men's game? I think it'd be kind of cool, we could do some other stuff instead of a skins game, get some match play going, best ball team format, or whatever.

 

Just seeing if there would be interest in this?

Papago is a solid track and the fees are reasonable with the Phoenix card.

Hmm could do something like second sundays, have a standing group of tee times on the second sunday of the month, if you can make it great if not no biggie etc. with a set schedule might make it easier for folks to remember

I am from montana and heading down for a week in the sun and looking to get a couple of rounds in. I plan on playing falcons dunes since I am part of the Air Force, but definently up for some fun times on the course and I have a legit handicap of 6. even thou were in the middle of winter. ANy takers?

Yeah matt that's what I was thinking, and just have people call the pro shop to sign up for it, that way none of us have to be "in charge" other than just throwing out the occasional FYI thread

Contact Falcon dunes and see if you can get in the sat morning gaggle... pretty good game

I don't play in the gaggle, but I play there frequently as a guest of some friends and in the AGA Falcom Amateur in July. But I hear the gaggle is a lot of fun - they usually tee off right in front of us. And everyone pays a dollar for the hole in one fund no matter if you are in the gaggle or not. Great golf course. Great facilty, food, service, etc. Condition is always great. Not a long course, but you have to be accurate. Pretty tight in some areas.

Definitely in on the Sunday games when Im free. Not to hijack the thread as this doesnt interfere with your sunday game but...

Good games and the skins usually pay in between 100 and 500. They prefer scratch or pro, although Im sure anyone can donate if they want!
They usually rotate Papago (monday), Continental, and Mtn Shadows (tues)...about three games per week, weekdays only.
You pay a slightly discounted greens fee, and then about $25 for skins and optional low gross/team games.
