It’s extremely unusual to find trousers that fit correctly off the rack.

 

Nine out of ten pairs need taking up to the correct length.

 

If you aren’t doing this, you aren’t wearing them right...!

Joggers have no place on the golf course, it looks like he's wearing his wife/gf's pants.

The joggers are bad, but combined with the all white shoes/belt/hat, the outfit really goes off the rails...worst part is he thinks it looks natty!

I think golf wear will continue it's trend towards more athletic looking wear, and away from country club/office attire in the coming years...I fully expect golfers to look like they're going to a yoga studio by the end of the next decade (golf fashions change slowly!).

All I know is if I'm going for a 5 miles walk that includes some athletic movement, I'm not wearing a polo shirt and chinos.

I think the colors look fine. The short pants are the problem.

EVR trousers are terrible. One of those looks that in 10 years time people will look back and wonder what they were thinking.

 

For whatever reason, that does seem to be the fashion at the moment off the course. I can’t go on a night out without seeing young lads and lads who should be old enough to know better walking around with high trousers and no socks. It is honestly bizarre to me. It’s at that point that I remember fashion and style are two very different concepts.

The horror of people dressing for golf the way they do for working on flexibility! As if they need it for the golf swing!

Negative. While I would prefer neither, I would take baggy and long over short and tight any day of the week. Some people call them joggers, I call them capri pants, and they're made for women.

Just get pants hemmed by any local Asian tailors. Great work and doesn't break the bank. Every pair of pants I get I always think it's $15 more than the tag because of getting them tailored.

To me, shorts (short pants) are just as egregiously mis-tailored in their length.  Most either look like they are playing in the NBA mid 2000's or trying to smuggle grapes and a Vienna sausage in a pair of underwear with belt loops.

Yikes? They're the best tailors, by far, and I'd recommend them over everyone around my area. Tried numerous, non-Asian, tailors. Can't compare in quality and speed.
