Has anyone done a clinic or private instruction with these guys? I'm tired of not reading greens properly and this system seems pretty legit.
I have not done any aimpoint , but all reports from people that have done them have been glowingly positive.

The normal comment I get is something like "I didn't even know how to practice reading greens before, at least now I have something to work on.".

I did not partake yet but I think I'm going to. I talked to a PGA pro in the area and said the people that teach aimpoint in the area definitely know their stuff.

I may do a private lesson as it's only $75 and I think they still provide the aim chart at the end. The clinics are 2-3 hours for $150 but I feel like an hour of solid one-on-one time will be just as beneficial.

I will report back once I do it.

Anxiously awaiting your report. I think I'd prefer the $75 one on one too.

Awesome thank you, I think I would go the 75$ route as well to learn the basics and go from there if I start to see gains

Hope so If I can fine tune my green reading and convert a couple more putts a round that would be huge for my game.

ok...finally. the private class is set and confirmed for saturday 5/25/13 at 3pm. i'm sorry to those that can't make this date and i apologize for not being able to accomodate everyone...i was disappointed myself. in my defense, i had no idea how hard it would be to find a date that worked for just a small handfull of people. ;)

with that said, the class can accomodate a few more spots so if anyone is interested in taking aimpoint on this specific date/time please let me know and i'll make the arrangements.

I totally understand, you should try to put together one of the WRX outings those can turn into a huge cluster in no time hahahaha

just a heads-up for anyone thinking about this. the system works! i've played two rounds and the putts i'm missing at this point are due to bad speed or when my brain doesn't believe the number and i try to add my "feel" back into the equation. at least six times i've walked off the green scolding myself to just trust the number...but 15yrs of old habits die hard i guess.

anyways, the system is super easy and is worth the money for anyone looking to improve their putting percentage.

hahaha 7 birdies combined mikey killed it on the front and I [s]killed[/s](almost killed) the back nine 37 with 2 doubles :help: . I figured we would have had a gross 65 if we were playing a better ball format

So the fundamentals course gave you guys enough info?
Most definitely. Mainly covered one direction breaks from inside 20 feet in the realistic make range. and to be honest I am really not looking to get into the super advanced stuff of dialing in a 40 foot double breaker across 2 tiers and predict the break down to the inch kinda stuff. I am already comfortable being able to two putt those and move on. This course is really going to help my make % in the range I need it the most that 6-12 foot zone that make a huge difference in my scores.

Chiromikey said it best it is a learning curve to start trusting the reads on the chart and yourself in calculating the correct slope/angle/distance. We both second guess a few times on Wen. we did not see as much break as the chart told us to use and missed low each time had we trusted the chart we would have made them.

Oh an FWIW I have always been very skeptical when it comes to stuff like this and prefer just to do it my way by feel and experience but I was blown away by how much sense it all made and really look forward to seeing my putting #'s get better and better as I continue to dial it in and trust what the chart is telling me.
