among the sickest putting performances I've ever seen... Just ridiculous
Yes, a putting clinic by InBee....but I think her putting performance on Sunday at the 2012 Evian was even better....if one can believe it.

What I'm really amazed at is how many 15-20 foot putts InBee was draining.

Since there really doesn't seem to be rivalry brewing out there, I think the course setups need to be changed. I could be completely wrong here, but it just didnt' seem like there was much chance of someone having a blowup hole coming down the stretch. No really tough grouping of three or four holes where getting through in par is an accomplishment, or no real risk/reward hole where if someone takes a gamble and pulls it off there is a possible two or three or even four shot swing. So many of their courses just seem so blah.
I know what you mean. Inbee was ahead by 4 and there's virtually no chance 2 of them will be taken away on one hole. No suspense.

I've debated the closing stretch of that course for a long time. There are plenty of semi-tricky holes, and the rough is strenuous if you find the wrong spot. That can lead to 1-shot swings all over the place if the competition is tight. Stacy and Yani was very compelling. But unless you yank the ball left onto Gerald Ford Drive on the 15th tee shot, as Cristie Kerr did in 2009, it's difficult to find a big number. They softened the back of 17 with a run off area. I preferred the thick greenside rough. That took out Lorena one year.

As others have posted, I think 18 should pay shorter, with more gamble involved. And slant the green so the ball can retreat into the hazard if you clear it, but not in the perfect spot. That green needs a treacherous risk/reward pin position, and not merely shots deep into the green drifting closer.

Judy Rankin acted as if it were an absolute atrocity that Brittany Lang found a gap between the grandstands when she hit an errant shot, instead of being bailed out.

Boo hoo.

Overall the tour needs at least a half dozen more setups like the new Kia venue. That course looked great and the greens were so atypical I had idea what to expect on the weekend, unlike virtually every other tournament.

So Yeon Ryu's Legs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Everyone else on the LPGA Tour.
This! Plus I love the golf tan on her thighs. She is slowly replacing NYC as my favorite LPGA player.
She's been gaining toward my favorite for a long time. If it were Ryu and Michelle battling for the win I'd root for Michelle, partially for salvage purposes. Otherwise I can't think of anyone I'd prefer above Ryu right now.

Her personality and fan friendly demeanor are even better than her legs.

Unfortunately she's not on TV often enough for that to be obvious. For such a top player, with a high percentage of top 5s, Ryu spends less time in the lead than anyone I can remember. One of the reasons she doesn't close well is she's always on the short end of the math, playing from several shots behind. Even her signature win at the US Open was a late rally. The one time she tried a big lead, at the 2012 Australian Ladies Masters, Ryu tightened up on Sunday and lost by 1 on the 18th hole. From that point forth it's like she's more comfortable settling in the second or third tier for the bulk of the event.

I think Ryu and Seo both 3 jacked the 18th at the 2012 ALM and created a 6 gal playoff.

I think the week b4.....Ryu unfortunately choked a Gold Coast event????.....I can't remember....maybe she won.

Ryu is a doll....she tweets other pros how much she enjoyed playing with them.
I guess she's never been paired with....oh never mind....lol.

She choked the Australian Ladies Masters. Boeljon stalked Ryu the final day and then overtook her with a birdie on 18.

The 3-putts were the subsequent event, which Korda won.

Actually, stalked is an unfortunate choice in the case of Boeljon, since she was stalked for several months last year by a crazy fan.
