Too bad it wasn't from Tutta, Sophie, Laura Davies ( I know she's not in the field) or Helen Alfredson.....that I like to see.....no luv loss with these gals....would make for a nice cat fight in the parking lot.

Have always enjoyed Judy and have liked seeing her bit a bit tougher on players, choice of shots or even Jerry Foltz read on putts. The LPGA needs more personality at each aspect of the game.

Before... Several years ago. the gist of it is several players were sitting in the restaurant after a round and Kerr comes walking through (by herself) and of them says there goes Christie with all her friends...

Michelle definitely aims outside the hole too often on the short putts. That's been her tendency long before she adopted this style. She's not a great reader of greens in general but it's more pronounced on the short ones. Often when I'm playing I'll catch myself and make sure I'm aiming within the hole on the short ones, unless it's a green with a considerable slope. You don't want to pay a price for a straight putt.

She had three unforced 3-putts from 20 foot range during the past two days. Disappointing finish but overall this was the most confident I've seen Michelle on the course in more than a year. Aiming over the trees on that par 4 was an example. There was a confident little grin on her face all day.

It's possible she could be paired with Cristie tomorrow. Both finished late at -2.

Clipping Lydia Ko by 4 shots over two rounds, now that would have been a price. Michelle's game is still so fragile she could fall apart, and Ko defeat her handily in the event. Strange things happen within a round or two. My percentage on matchups decided at the cut is 6% worse than ones that go the full 4 rounds.

I hate that Hedwall is in contention. She barks at her ball every bit as much as Cristie, and I'm convinced the translated words are no better, perhaps worse. Lots of snipes back and forth with her caddie. I saw that at Titleholders. There was a glimpse today, with Judy Rankin mentioning the chatter in Swedish.

There will be 10 players in the mix on the back 9 come Sunday and a playoff.

I wonder how many bus loads of Koreans will be coming from LA...they need the crowds.
