Best iron's for a sweeper?

I sweep the ball with my irons and was wondering what fellow sweepers prefer. I also prefer a blade so if we could narrow it down to those or at least something similar just no game improvers please. Thoughts?

I'm a sweeper and the new 2013 forged irons from Callaway have been great.

Wishon irons generally have a really roujnded front edge which is great for a sweeper. Irritated my golf instructor who was trying to make a divot chipping with mine and the clubs would not cooperate.

They have blades, mb and the ability to make a combo set if you desire.

Im a sweeper also, just switched to JPX 825 Pro's for the forgiveness this year, but when I was hitting blades I really like the Nike VR Forged (last years model). Only other set of blades ive like that much were the older Mizuno MP67's and 32's (both of which im sure you can get for dirt cheap right now).

If you don't mind a touch of forgiveness the Pro Combo CB's are also a great choice, and they feel awesome. I played those all of last year, only thing that really got to me was the sound the pocket cavity made on the long irons, but it definitely helped on slight miss-hits.

MP-53, Nike VR Pro Combo or Combo CB, Wilson FG Tour have all worked very well for me.

I am a sweeper also and I like blades...but I went VR_S Forged heads with Steelfiber for shafts......

I am a sweeper myself and I have gone to hybrids up through my former 8-iron. They raise eyebrows among folks who don't know me. But I really think they have improved my game. Hybrids, in my opinion, are much more forgiving of slightly thin or slightly fat hits than are irons. And I am also convinced that if you are a sweeper, like me, you have a much lower margin of error in thin or fat shots.

I am also a senior golfer, so some folks I have played with say I am allowed to use these "ladies" clubs given that I have grey hair. For most who offer such comments, I just say to myself that they probably could benefit from more hybrids as well (be they old or be they young). Good golfers rarely make such comments. And good golfers usually respect my choice of clubs to fit my game.

ps: the higher lofted hybrids are much more obtainable with an L flex shaft. Shop ebay. L flex anything just does not bring a lot of bids. Buy the L flex. Then try it out with an open mind. You may well find that it works quite nicely as is, as I did. I intended to replace the shaft on an L flex hybrid but changed my mind after using it a few rounds. It is still in my bag, L flex. I do admit that initially I marked out the flex on the shaft with a sharpie. But now I brag about it. But if it doesn't work for you, replace the shaft. You might still be well ahead.

I'm a sweeper and actually feel like I made a bad swing when I taske a divot. I play Bridgestone j40 CBs and I love them. I also have a set of Adams CMBs waiting in the wings, should the honeymoon end abruptly. Yes, I have become a true ho.
