If you don't lose a lot of balls it's tough to beat the Srixon Trispeed Tour at 2-for$35. I haven't played with the new Q-Star yet to comment on its durability but the Trispeed Tour can last me 2 rounds easy when I keep it in play.

Try the Maxfli U2. For those of you that read golf digest, a few months ago there was an issue with Tiger on the cover. This particular issue had a fantastic article that showed a chart and graph of 25-30 balls, different price ranged, with driver spin on one axis and half-wedge spin on the other axis. Interestingly enough, the Maxfli U2 was in the same ball park for half-wedge green side spin as all the tour balls, however the driver spin was significantly higher. But regardless, if you're in the market for a $20 ball or a $50 ball, your primary concern should be greenside spin, not your driver.

Maxfli U2. Put them in the bag myself. Can't say the feel is fantastic, simply because it wasn't, but I was very impressed with the greenside spin.

Best $20 ball is the Z Star now available at Academy sports. It's cheaper than Q Star, nxt and a bunch of others.

Nike Mojo are $20 for 2 dozen. It's a good all around ball. Has a nice feel off the tee.

+3 for the Bridgestone Lady Precept. Read another thread on these and bought a dozen. Played a couple of rounds so far and am loving this $20 per dozen ball. Soft, feels great off the putter and I was amazed at how well it spins. Normally play Pro V's but can easily see switching to these.

The tp3 is a great ball if you can still find them.
I just picked up 2 dozen RBZ or rocketbalz a 3 piece urethane cover ball at wal mart, which I can't stand. But I told them I saw them on sale for 19.97 somewhere else, and they price matched.
Supposedly the same ball as the tp3. I've played them exclusively this season, and the last part of last season, I now use prov1s I find for water hazards.

Just picked up a ammo box (3 dozen) of taylormade tp3 at rockbottom golf for $43. It worked out to $14.44 a dozen. Not bad for a urethane covered ball.

If these are the replacement for the MC Lady then I would vote for these. I bought 10 dozen MC Ladies for my son when I found them for 7.95 a dozen a couple years ago. To my surprise they were nice.
