I am really hoping they reduce the spin on the AP2's. I have tried every shaft possible, but with any wind at all they would balloon on me.

Then you'll love the new 714 AP2s...wait until they come out before you buy anything else.

What I'd like to see: Satin as everyone has said. And, primarily, something to bridge the gap between the AP2 and the CB. The AP2 has a very bulky look, and could certainly feel better compared to other player's cb's. The CB is the most unforgiving non-muscle back club out there. There is little difference between it and the MB. In fact, for those who have the game for the CB, I cannot see a single reason why not to just get the MB. I would like a slimmed down AP2, or a more forgiving CB so they can compete more directly with the MP64.
I agree 100%, I had to choose between CB and MB's and every Titleist guy I talked to said their was literally no difference at all & I found the CB's a bit clunky and not very forgiving at all off mishits so I just went with the MB's. Best decision I've ever made.

Never understood fall release dates since those of us in the north are wrapping up our season.
That bothers me too, we're just ending or winding down our season in Late October early November and a bunch of new stuff comes out that we can't hit outdoors until March. It's just a tease!!!!!

Can you say "Christmas Presents" ??? Good reason to have the product available to consumers in November!

The last thing I want to do is be getting used to new irons at the beginning of the season. Would much rather get to know them in the fall, really work them out in the winter, and be ready to play (as) well (as I can) with them when the season starts.

I don't know....I would venture to say not too many women drop $1k on iron sets during the holiday season for their hubbies.
Definitely not too many. Probably not enough. I'll work on the ones I know, you work on the ones you know, maybe together… we can… make… a difference!

Titleist makes some strange marketing decisions IMO. The 913 driver was an afterthought for the customer shopping "new" drivers in 2013 because of its release date and the 913 woods were forgotten because they were released months after the driver.
The only plausible reason would be so that they can release something 'new' every 6 months or so! That way it keeps Titleist loyalists on the ball, while still sticking to their traditional 2 year cycle!

This whole "2 year cycle" thing drives me crazy.

Make something good, then sell it. When you have something BETTER, then sell it. If it takes you a month (shame on you) or five years, then so be it. Pushing crap out every (insert time-frame) just so you can stay "on cycle" is [barkley] turrible [/barkley].
I completely disagree. I'm not like most golfers- I buy too much equipment. For the market in general, players need to know when to expect new releases so they can arrange their budget to be ready. Every 2 years is just about perfect for a company like Titleist, that's chasing quality and not just the low end of the market.

But how is re-badging the AP2s every 2 years making any improvements? Give me something better or just keep the same product on the shelves.

The AP2 is arguably the best player's cavity ever made, and each one has been better than the last. A little tweak here or there is all that is necessary. There is no need to make wholesale changes.
