That's not good for Ariya, hope it's not a bad injury..

By the way CK was talking the rough is pretty brutal 22, that'll kill Lydia's chances if she can't keep out of it.. :)
Yani is sick too.
Yes, reports now are indicating narrow fairways, rough & fast greens....LOVE IT....but putting wins....Webb putted brilliant on Sunday....Feng not.

It will kill any one`s chances if they spend too much time in the cabbage.
Hopefully, Locust Hills provides it`s best member to loop for Lydia with inside knowledge....like what happen at the 2012 CN CWO.
Jesse also credits her local loop at Royal Melbourne.

too bad Ariya is likely to pull out of her pairing with Lydia and MW....one good showing and MW is back with a feature pairing.
I`m not complaining....amazing how number 155 Rolex ranked Belen is in a feature TV coverage grouping.....I think she only has one top 5 finish in her career.

Don`t forget the gals will be on GG`s.....On The Range on Wed.

A good local loop would be a bonus for Lydia for sure though I don't expect too much this weekend, she hasn't played in a month and it's a major so the nerve ends might take a while to settle. The cabbage seems to be weakest part of Lydia's game, it's almost like if she's in there write down a bogey.. Maybe she just doesn't spend enough time in there practicing!

Ariya doesn't look like she needs to be jogging down a hill. Is she going to withdraw or not? Matchup is Cristie vs. Ariya. Still on the board and the odds have not moved. Ariya is a small favorite. I wouldn't mind taking a shot at a cheap victory. If Ariya tees off but withdraws, a wager on Cristie wins as long as she completes more holes than Ariya. I've certainly lost matchups that way, including once when Greg Norman withdrew due to injury in the US Open. The player he was matched against was playing miserably.

I'll pick first this week. Asian-born players have been dominating the majors so I'll respect the trend and load up with Koreans. Off the top of my head the best Korean without a major is I.K. Kim. I'll take a chance at a decent price with her. She's as high as 33/1. Sometimes the feel-good story arrives a bit late. Instead of redemption at Kraft, why not one major later, when nobody is focusing on her? Like Dan Jansen shocking with gold in his final Olympic race, the 1000, after so many failures in his pet event, the 500. I.K. is very high in driving accuracy and her putting numbers are good this year. Quiet rally last week for a nice finish.

I.K. Kim
Na Yeon Choi
So Yeon Ryu

BTW, everyone in the field is available at 11/1 or higher. I can't remember the last time I saw that, an LPGA event with nobody consensus single digit odds.

It looks like somebody confused Na Yeon Choi with Moriya Jutanugarn. Those pairings make no sense. Apparently made by someone with one event's worth of information. Actually, I very familiar with that in Las Vegas circles, the tourists wagering on the prior week's results to rerun.

Hmmmmm....maybe Ariya should borrow Lee Janzen`s shoes...lol.

I`m gonna go with a somewhat similar theme.....Asian born pro to win 9th consecutive major and a 1st time major winner.

IK Kim
Hee Young Park ( The `Rocket`)
Mika Miyazato

Kinda no surprise with 11 to 1.....Inbee and Stacy are flat and Yani likely a no show to contend.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wouldn`t be surprised if Webbie won again....although I`d rather see another winner.

I predict Lydia to finish around 18th....what are other`s predictions for Lydia.

Good catch.
How about Amy Yang ( Rolex no, 19) starting at 715am....WTF....if I was her agent someone would be receiving an ear load.
Amy hasn`t done much this year......I thought Amy would always break out.....effortless swing with distance....I`m very very surprise she doesn`t have a LPGA win yet.

I'd be more than happy to see Webbie win another Major, she's got the game going but her putter was pretty warm last week as you said and I have my doubts she's getting on well enough with it for it to behave two weeks in a row..

Lydia? As much as I don't expect too much I'll still put her down for a top 10, cant help myself :) If she could stay out of the cabbage she could probably contend but I don't see it happening.

12:28 on the first tee you have the grouping of:

Lee
Lee
Lee (Bentham)

Looks like the LPGA hasn't lost their sense of humor.

Creamer, Park & Korda will be a good group to watch.

I'm picking Petterson to win this week.

SYard T388
TaylorMade RBZ 13-15
Miura CB-57 3-PW
Miura 51Y, 52K,56K, 57C, 60K

My pics are:

Bea Recari - top 20 in driving accuracy and putting.
Karrie Webb - Stats are solid, she is a hall of famer and knows how to win majors, and might be on a streak.
NYC - She's due, 3rd in scoring average, pretty good putting stats, and pretty accurate driver. She's due and can win!

From GW..

“I wanted to try to make her wet,” Jutanugarn said. “My fault.”

Kids..

I hope she rests up for the US WO, she missed that last year after and accident too!

Ok. I will play again

Must be time for one of the players from the USA to win - I will go with Craemer

Add a Korean - NYC

And a player from the rest of the world - Pettersen

I would not be surprised if K Webb is in contention again this week but it is hard to win two weeks in a row. Last weeks tournament looked like hard work and they will exhausted.

That's a good balanced portfolio. I had a difficult time leaving out Pettersen and Webb. Probably not too bright, especially since the winning score doesn't figure to be low to par. It won't be a birdie-fest putting contest. Hard to believe Yani Tseng finished -19 on this course two years ago.

The Life on Tour blog includes a caddie rumor that this event will be moving next year.

I'm just going down the path of the fact that many parts of the country are seriously weather impacted this year and the fact that anyone who travels for their career faces weather related delays. I've been stuck in too many airports due to snow, thunderstorms, etc., and try to make the best of it.

Here's Brittany Lincicome's tweet on the weather...Brittany1golf RT @MP_Foundation: It is going to pass right on through. We are golfing today my friend!

Just a different attitude...one who is complaining and another who is positive all in the same situation. Just one guy's opinion.
