You can see the elk in the first pic on the corner. The second one is when they waded into the river to pose for us. Was a very cool sight.

Pretty damn lucky to enjoy this daily.

Had the pleasure of playing Granite Links in Milton, MA (just South of Boston right off I-95) when it was still fairly new and the clubhouse was in a temporary building. The first tee box gives you a view of downtown Boston which is beautiful.

 

I don't remember which hole this is but the view from the #1 tee box is similar yet much closer.

 

And my home club, Rivermont Country Club in Johns Creek, GA. #17 tee box

Huge rainfall and a quick flood has closed our municipal course. Water might be 10 feet high by the time it peaks.

It just got open late last summer after a flood in 2011 and hadn't really got open yet this season.

Here are some photos that I tool last month of Chambers Bay. The US Open is going to be incredible.... Tons of awesome locations to watch from on the dunes with stadium like seating. There are spots where you can position your self to see tee shots on two holes and the greens of two others. I have played a few US Open tracks and this one is by far the most unique and the hardest. They can stretch it to 7900 yards with wind/ rain. It's going to be a very stern test. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pictures but I was having a hard enough time focusing on the course.
