These clubs are about as classy as any club I've ever seen. It is interesting, a lot of people talk about how 'not much more can be done to a blade in order to improve performance'...yet we hear the opposite from Mizuno/Titleist/TM etc... it will be interesting to hear some real world feedback on these bad boys.

do you get a pair of sunglasses with those?

If you're cool enough to play these, you'll already be wearing sunglasses :)

Thanks for the video ....great !! However, did anyone us hear the difference in the couple of shots CHIII hit before being handed the MP4 and the sound of the MP4?? The pre-shots have that traditional mizuno sounds from a solid hit that you know felt like butter but the sound on the MP4 hits sound "clicky".

I'm I hearing things or maybe the sound is more on the "clicky" side. Just a personal preference ....dont care for a clicky sound in my irons. MP-53 player and before that played MP-32s forever (which I think was the best feeling mizuno).

The whole "Mizunos are like butter" thing is so overblown....feel is so subjective, but i have hit X-hot pros and pings which feel a lot better.....my s56's are clicky but i love em and my 712 CB's are what I call sweet cream butter

Anyone know when we're actually going to get some legitimate specs, etc???

Probably after the sales meeting on the 29th.

I was just on the phone with a CSR from Mizuno, he said you should see the heads in the fitting carts by 3rd week of August and they will be available for order in early Sept. I asked about the 54's mostly mainly about the leading edge/sole design changes vs the 53's. He hadn't seen them enough to do a true evaluation but believed they were following the same principal/focus on turf interaction like they did with the 64's.

probably, but Ive hit a bunch of mizunos and while I know they are great clubs, I think people exaggerate the "feel" description of mizunos to the point of "no mizuno could ever feel anything but butter-like" Its almost a marketing tool at this point.....but the new MP was designed because tour pros didn't like the feels of the last mp's....

I may be in the minority but I didn't buy mizunos because the feel wasn't the best for me..........the 712 CB destroyed the mizunos for feel for me....feel is subjective as I stated, so 9 out of 10 amateurs may like the "feel" of mizuno, but its not represented as such on tour as mizuno has 5 pros that play their line for the most part......but who really cares.....one guys junk is another guys treasure, so whatever works for us is what works

im interested in what the differences are between the mp4 and the mp69. the 69 are great clubs, but id like to upgrade to something smaller and thinner soled, which Im not sure the MP4 is, although the top edge is thinner

will be interesting to see in person

My guess and its just that is the sole was redesigned, softened/rolled leading edge.
