MIZUNO MP-4 and MP-54 Reveal

I think its super cool that there is so much buzz around the release of the new irons.
I know everyone is super keen to see the full product in HD (me included) but I think the teaser pics are fun......... builds the atici..........pation.
I just know that I wont be to productive today because I'll checking for more pics all day long.

The mp54 looks a little bit chunky or just camera angle?? THe black inlet looks good not that clean like other mizunos. Mp4 wow, but i cannot hit them good enough:(.

I've been told by a mizuno rep the 54 will be in LH. But I wouldn't be surprised if neither of these irons will be made in LH.

Not a huge fan of the 54s look, think my 53s look better. The 4s look great

MP4 long iron looks solid. I really want to see how the muscle flows into the mod and short irons. Looks in that pic like a 4D muscle with the edge slightly pointing towards the top for feel like the 64

Not a fan of the under cut in the short irons, prefer the look of the short irons in the 53s.

These blades are beautiful! In the end I will likely end up with a set of 64s, and keep my MX-300 3 & 4 irons to swap out when I need them. I just dont think going back to blades will help my game no matter how nice they look in the bag.

MP-4's look flat out phenomenal!!!
The 54's...a little disappointed that the 54 isn't stamped and is on a badge. I'll reserve complete judgement until I get to see them in person. Still look pretty nice, but we'll see.
And not crazy about Mizzy sliding away from their blue to black.

Based on the photo, it seems it will be necessary to explain the difference between the MP4 and the MP69. . . . or am I missing something?

I always enjoy seeing the sweet new Mizuno stuff because I'll never be able to afford them new, lol. Those MP4s look great but as someone else said, it would've been nice of the 54s were stamped and not badged. Small gripe though. Can't wait for address pics.

[color=#282828]I haven't tried to Play Mizuno since the TP9's in early to Mid 90's, the MP54 I believe is much nicer with the Black chrome combination than blue... I agree I rather not have the badge but it is in good taste. Hopefully they will continue the trend of a LH 54 as with the 53[/color]

My god, those MP-4's are [u]awesome[/u]. I can see a combo set of the MP-54 and MP-4 being very popular.

And I know that no one likes badges but that's pretty subtle on the MP-54. To me it adds a modern touch like it does on the T4 wedges.

Pete- You posted the badge frames the muscle well on the 54 and I would agree with this comment. I personally like the break and is fine with me as it is quite tasteful in the black/chrome.

Hopefully the 54 will be a tad more friendly toward the 825 Pro since they don't come in LH.... great looking though.

The MP54'sa aren't bad, but think I prefer the look of the Titleist AP2's if I was in the market for that type of iron. However, if they perform better than the 714 AP2's, that'd be a different matter! The MP4's are simply awesome, but I think there is more chance of being bitten by a daffodil than these being available in LH, so as a lefty, I'd have to take the Titleist 714 MB, or Amp Cell pro MB's. If the MP4's were available in LH though, I'd be one of the first to order. I know.......absolutely no chance! Lol.

Wow, count me as underwhelmed. The sole on the 54's looks wide enough to land a 757 on and the mp 4's follow the tradition of the 68's and 69's in doing nothing for me. The 64's are the best thing in the line at the moment.
