I've used them quite a bit to try different balls as well as stock up and have always had a great experience. I usually receive the order in about 3-4 business days and never have a problem with the quality as long as you buy the 4A and 5A balls. I looked around and their prices seem competitive as well.

That's good to hear. I'm usually a lgb guy but this place has much better prices

I think I ordered a batch of near-mint (or whatever they call their highest grade) something or other a couple years back. Delivered quickly and quality as promised. I recall their prices not being totally rock-bottom-low but I caught some sort of sale or coupon code and thought the value for money was good.

Has anyone purchased their "AAA" grade balls? I'm looking to buy some V1X balls for practice use chipping and putting. They're offering 36 balls for $30, which is a great deal. I don't plan to use them on the course, so was just wondering if anyone had seen the condition of these to see if they were good enough for practice?

I've ordered the AAAA before and they were in great condition. I'd say the AAA would even be OK for on the course, so there should be no issue using them for practice.

I just recevied an order a friend and I went in on together. We ordered the mint condition on all them and not one of them had even a slight scuff mark. This is how they fared with logos and pen marks:

TP Red LDP - 2 dozen - 7 logos, 2 with pen marks. One of them was numbered "1947".

Tour IX - 1 dozen - they only had 5 in stock and included a note on the invoice they were refunding for 7 balls (?) - Of the 5, 2 with logos, 0 with pen marks.

DT Solo (2010 model) - 2 dozen - 14 logos, 5 with pen marks.

The DT Solo were what my friend wanted and she's never ordered used golf balls before. Out of 2 dozen, only 5 had no logos or pen marks.

I will say they were exceptionally fast with the shipping, especially since we got free shipping for ordering $50 worth. I ordered on Thursday at 11:46am. I had an email at 12:15pm saying my order shipped. When I came home Saturday afternoon, they were sitting on my doorstep.

While I'm happy, I hope my friend isn't put off by the amount of logos that are on her 2 dozen. I actually prefer logos now, but I remember being taken aback with my first used golf ball order and the number of logo balls I received. It wasn't near the percentage that her order contains.

i've bought a lot of used balls on ebay in the past and have always gotten their highest quality/AAAAA/mint condition ones ever since i tried saving money once and got the 2nd best quality just to try..

....too many unacceptable ones--for me--on the lower quality ones..

their highest quality ones are very good value..

Wanted to update on my recent purchase from Golf Balls Unlimited.

I purchased 36 AAA 2012 Pro V1x Practice X-Outs for $30 including free shipping. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, by no means were any of these "MINT" or "AAAAA" balls, but I didn't pay those prices. Most of them has a scuff or two, but no gouges, nothing that would severly effect ball flight, and there were quite a few where the scuffs were so minor that they were good enough for me to play. Realistically, after 3-9 holes my ball is gonna look like these anyways. I'm definitely not as picky as some of you guys are but for $30 you can't go wrong if you want some cheap Pro Vs to practice or play with in anything less than perfect conditions. I just received my second order from them. I placed the order Saturday evening and they were in my mailbox this afternoon (Wednesday). They have changed their free shipping from $50+ orders to $25+ orders.

3 dozen TP Red LDP - no scuffs at all. 3 with logos, 4 with pen marks. 3 of 4 with pen marks were just one or two dots (not even full dimple dots). The other one looked like someone tried spelling the name KIRK. All of the other 29 were just like new or very slightly faded (nowhere near as badly faded as some I've received in the past from LGB and ebay).

While I didn't need them (I still have the 2 dozen from my first order), $9.99 a dozen for mint and free shipping was too good to pass up. (cool)

Placed an order with them this summer and was satisfied. I wanted to try a few different balls.

top quality titlelist dt solo yellow: only one ball had pen marks on it, the rest were mint. Performed just like brand new DT solo's that I have bought in the past. This will be my go to ball.

top quality titlelist nxt tour: Quite a few logo balls but perfect condition. Balls scuffed easily on wedge shots. Don't know if thats how the ball normally is or if its because they sat in water.

2nd quality srixon q-star: This is the ball that I do not understand. They came in great condition but after iron or wedge shots there was a cellophane-like material peeling off the ball. is this the spin skin i've read about?

Hey thought I'd post here since I used this thread to make my decision to buy from golfballs unlimited. Balls not mentioned were mint.

Wilson Staff Smartcore Yellow (3A) - 2 scuffs (minor), 2 heavy marking (Sharpie 'mexican flags'), 6 minor markings (1 line or faint initials)
Wilson Staff Smartcore Yellow (4A) - 0 scuffs, 4 minor markings (1-3 dots or almost erased line)

Nike One RZN-X (3A) - 5 scuffs (minor), 2 minor scuffs + medium marking
Nike One RZN-X (4A) - 2 scuffs (1 dimple or less), 1 heavy line

Also bought a bunch of cheap coloured balls, too lazy to rate. Free, fast shipping all the way to Washington state. Very happy!

 • 1 year later...

I just received 3 dz pro v1's in the mail today. I am completely disappointed. I had ordered from them in the past and received some decent balls, but this time it was horrible.

I supposedly ordered AAAAA mint balls but when they arrived, they were grey and looked like they were 10 years old. I tested a few of the pro v's against a new NXT tour and it bounced almost half as high off a concrete floor. On top of it, 23 out of 36 were "logo" balls and I also received a few pro v1x's in there which I do not use. Some of them have scuff marks but the bottom line is they are not as advertised. It looks like these have been sitting at the bottom of a pond for 3 months.

To be 100% honest, I probably will not use these balls on the course. They are as far from mint as you can get.

I would advise against purchasing from this outfit
