He's not replacing Vokey. He will be doing a speciality line of wedges for the Asian market (Japan & Korea).

Good for him. I cannot imagine the Vokey name will go away and perhaps Titleist will just add another line or do a spinoff of some sort. I have long been a vokey wedge user but I was looking at the new mack daddy tour grinds recently. I guess I will wait until the winter to pull the trigger and see how it all shakes out.

I played with a friend of mine the other day who has 3 JP wedges in his bag. They are one of the coolest looking wedges I have ever seen. He believes the performance is the best he has played. As a lefty, I can't comment on this.

From what I was told, he will be working on wedges for the Asian market, nothing to do with the Tour.
