I only have 2 items that are going into ply pay next year:

1. Ping Pioneer Cart Bag. I've become a cart convert. Used to walk everywhere but started using a cart when playing with my wife so I could carry her bag and push mine. No longer exhausted after 9 holes and my shot making has increased.

2. Mizuno MP54 with some C Taper Lites. 4-PW is good for me. Gonna spend some quality time with my instructor and figure out the perfect setup before ordering. I plan on playing these the next 3-4 years so I'm not in a rush.

I just got a new FW, irons, wedge, putter, and hybrid. I'll be adding a GW and LW to compliment my set so my bag next season should look like this. I have debated selling the irons, wedges, and hybrid to buy something stainless for durability. I haven't even hit them yet so we shall see...

Do it. Single best club decision I've made. I'e always been a love/hate guy on 3 woods, because I hadn't found the right one. I hit the x-hot a good 20-25 yards longer than any other 3 wood I've ever hit, and it's really hard to hit it crooked. It's the first club I've owned that feels like cheating.

I think the rest of this year and next year will be:

X-hot driver (shaft tbd, still tweaking)
X-hot 3 wood and 3 hybrid.
Adams CB3 black irons 4-gw
Cleveland 54/58* wedges
Odyssey Versa #7
I may keep the Hex Chrome or chrome+ in play for a bit. I like the ball, and the price i nice compared to other options.

I'm done trying to fix my game with more gear. I'm sticking with practice and lessons. But if my game improves to were I'm hoping it will, I'll at least get fitted and get some really nice irons. And maybe a driver, and hybrids, or fairways. Or wedges....... Hell, I'm keeping my putter anyways!

I just bought a new 53* TVD wedge which I'm excited about, and my bag will be pretty set for a while. The only thing I'm thinking about is either a 913D2 9.5* with the Aldila ATX Green (when it becomes stock) or creating an Anser 9.5* w/ VTS Black 6X. I'm really interested in this one.

I will definitely try the S55s and see what they're like, but my MP32s/KBS are a pretty sick combo for me. I just need some more practice.

I'm pretty much set, I think.

Driver - Callaway Razr Fit Xtreme - 7M3. Not going anywhere.
Fairway 1 - TM R11 TP 4 wood - Motore F3 80. I was dumb enough to sell this off once, not happening again.
Fairway 2 - Adams Speedline LP 7 wood - Radix 5. Easily my favorite club, its firmly in place.
Hybrid - TM RBZ Stage 2 Tour 4H - Rocketfuel 80. Undecided on this, it actually goes too far for my gap. ??
Irons - TM TP MC/MB - S300. So far I'm loving these, but I am always liable to trade for another forged set.
Wedges - TM ATV Satins - KBS. I'm still getting used to the shafts and how to effectively use the sole. ??
Putter - Odyssey White Hot Pro #7 or White Ice #1. These 2 aren't going anywhere. I just like to mix it up.
Ball - I will play whatever ball I can find for $25 and has a soft feel off the putter. Currently Q Stars.

As I'm starting up my new company at the moment budget is kind of an issue..

I'd go with something like this:
- 9.5* driver, high kickpoint shaft
- 13-14* wood, high kickpoint shaft,
- 17-19* hybrid, mid kickpoint shaft
- Forged irons, 3-9 iron, shaft to be picked
- Wedges: 46-52-58 with 8-10* bounce, same shaft as in the irons
- Putter: Kenny Gianini G40

Though I'm a devoted PING guy, I'm open to other brands. It's all about being commited to the club in your hands: it should feel nice, give you the dispersion and distance you desire and if at all possible not sound like a broken hammer hitting a ball oh and look pretty
