Taylormade is coming out with a New MB (no slot) MC (w/ slot) and CB (w/ slot). I have personally seen these and they are sick! Very clean and very pure. You will not be disappointed! You can't believe they can fit a slot on the bottom of these clubs. Nice clean lines!

Compare the looks of the MB with a recent set of any brands blades. Titleist 712? Mizuno mp 33?
The prototype MB TP i seen looked like a Mizzy MP14.

What are you talking about? In the past three years (since going to the White heads woods & utilities and the MB and MC irons, their business has increased by from a little over one Billion to about $1.8 billion. The increase alone is about what Callaway is projecting to do this year (a little over $800 Mil). The RBZ fairway woods became the largest selling fairway woods ever for one year and the most dominate fairway wood series since the Orlimar Trimetals of the late 90's. So I don't think your thoughts are actually factually correct!

Here's hoping for...

1. Just as forgiving as the 460
2. Less head weight so we have some shaft options

I should have never sold off both my V2 supertri heads. The SLDR is great, and numbers are awesome with it, but if I hit the heel side one more time there's a chance it might find a pond somwhere. The center of this thing and I do not get along very well and I have no idea why.

What did you think of the 430cc TP driver? What shaft did you hit it with?
I actually didn't get to hit the 430. I was helping TM with a pre-launch at a club yesterday, and got to busy to give it a try. Got to pick Tom Kroll's brain for hours, which was really cool. The guy is a mad scientist! I did get to watch some good players hit it and the numbers were great. It's certainly not meant for a hack, that is for sure. The fairway woods and hybrids are great. Much, much better feel than the rbz.
ZJohnson, were you able to verify if the 430cc driver will come with an extra weight kit?

Toe cap still looks the same, and doesn't appear to have the "screw fix" on them, which means they are still held on by tape. Being as though you have to remove that for access to the weight, I don't see that as being something that will come to the table. They open themselves up to too many warrenty issues for the toe caps coming off, damage trying to get them off, etc. There is no way that tape will hold after you pull that cap a few times. Perhaps at some point we will see some of the weights pop up somewhere for sale, but I doubt that TM is going to bring them directly to the market for the average consumer. At best, I would say club fitters could maybe get access but that is pushing it.

Is the Tour Spec 6.3 gonna come with the 430? I saw they are continuing to go with TS's as their TP shaft in SLDR fairways and hybrids. If not, any idea what shaft?

I couldn't be happier with the selection of the TS Speeder for the stand TP shaft. It is a great shaft.

I haven't played a TM iron that I liked since the 2004 RAC MB's done by Miura. Now from all the talk about the resurgence of the TP line I may have to take a look at the new forged TP irons. Also that 430 SLDR looks pretty sweet evn though I've been very happy with my Tour Issue SF V1. That club has been a beast. I'm about to demo the Stage 2 w/ UST Mamiya 4U, so we'll see how that compares. Until these TP series are released it's just a wait and see until I find a new replacement for the Superfast.

I was referring to one Model, R1 White, i have actually played all the other white headed drivers and still have a RBZ Tour 4 wood in the Bag, nothing can kick it out, also played the rescues and the MC irons, all great clubs, the MB's still have a great presence on Tour.

I didn't think to ask since I get my hands on them already. Sorry. But what I can tell you is that the head weighed 195g, which in turn with adapter will be 201-202g. So, MUCH better than the 460 which is anywhere from 208-212. Solid SW with this head will be much easier to attain.

As for the irons, I did not get to see them. They are super secretive. What I do know is the new "combo" set will be cast in the 3-6 and forged in the 7-P.(it may be 6 thru pw forged, but i cannot remember 100%) Also the new JetSpeed woods will be a completely different color scheme(no more white) but TK would not tell me what color.

The sad thing is, I have to almost wage a switch just to get the lighter head weight. How much is that worth to me? It's a shame that the weight of the head seems to be so much of an issue. There have been pics of the lighter weights, so we know they exist, and I'm honestly suprised they are not findable anywhere.

The new Combo set will be very interesting to me. I thought the MCs would cover the mid irons and that they are forged?
The short irons would be the MBs.
And the MCs have IT...the slot!
