It's pretty soft for a non-insert putter, but not overly so. Very solid and not harsh.

Clean lines on all the putters pictured. I love the simple look of these putters and the finish is nice with no worry of glare.

No worries. I thought it was milled too (common sense, right?) until the rep told me about the process. Very, very intriguing.

That's cool... did he say if it effects feel in anyway? I think you said earlier it was a litte softer? than milled... i may be wrong, it may have been someone else. But in my opinion, a softer feel would be well regarded in a putter. Either way, the way the Metal-X texture gets the ball rolling is awesome. Hopefully the combination of the two will amount to the ultimate putter?!

Seeing almost all plumbers necks is disappointing. I'd love to roll the AR3 in a double bend shaft. Definitely going to give these a chance as I've always loved Odyssey putters, but never cared fro the feel of polymer inserts. If it feels anything like the black series, I'm sold.

I wouldn't get too caught up in what the sight lines etc look like. They've been making different versions of those for a while. Like the solid line instead of dots on the #7. They've been around, but not available at retail. Having some sort of custom shop option would be pretty cool, I know it's been mentioned by more than a few on here.

The question mark stamps won't be on the retail production versions of the putter, or at least I expect they won't.

I believe Odyssey uses the question mark stamps for prototype models.
