The Mystery #7, finally without an insert, love it!

Couldn't agree more. I always wish a Protype had a #7 head

I had a buddy show me 2 of these putters from his putter collection. ( He is just a PGA Golf Pro at a nice Country Club with a friend that is on with Callaway/ Odyssey) He was able to get 2 of them. Both were the normal Plumbers Neck with a single sight dot on the top line. Feels very much like my Prototype #1 putter that is milled from 303 SS. They looked the same as in these pictures and with the same patent leather type ??? Head Cover. I asked to buy one and no dice but it was beautiful. They are like the Prototype's that still to this day with the satin finish are being distributed on the tour back from the 2006-2007 era when the #1 had a short lived retail stint in limited numbers. Those are very nice putters with all sorts of designs and weight ports on some, different sight alignments and so on.

These are like those IMO, not the looks but the way they are not being released but highly used on tour. If they really go retail that is cool. I know someone with Callaway on the Business side who usually will give me hints on new stuff which I knew the new Drivers after the Optiforce were coming and the Apex irons awhile ago but never anything on these were told to me. Hope to see them available and just as cool. I do not think they will have the ? marks on them or that head cover if it goes retail IMO. Awesome if they did though. People would most like pay extra just for that alone. I would easily say they are worth 300 plus like that and compete all day long with a Cameron and other great putters.

They are going retail with a slightly darker black finish, lime green accents, and no question marks. Pictures on page 2 here: http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/919027-2014-odyssey-mystery-putters-shot-at-2013-fryscom-open/page__st__30#entry7981055

Lime green, with sight-line only? That's the final product? Ehhh... I'll still give them a try, but that sort of dulled my excitement.

I think it has been mentioned that both the sight line and the dot will be available. That picture was just of one model.

They're not 303. These are carbon steel.

I'm disappointed there's no center shafted #7's.

Thought there would be a centre shafted no 7.
Harry can you confirm this is still the case?
Relax. If you guys have been following the multiple Callaway threads Chris Koske already mentioned there will be 3-4 center shafts in the 2014 lineup. He's on his honeymoon and will be back in circulation in a 10 days or so.

Seeing almost all plumbers necks is disappointing. I'd love to roll the AR3 in a double bend shaft. Definitely going to give these a chance as I've always loved Odyssey putters, but never cared fro the feel of polymer inserts. If it feels anything like the black series, I'm sold.
To each his own... I for one would like to see a #7 with a plumber's neck.

A flow neck # 7 would be cool but I also like the idea of the plumbers neck also.

Curious to know the size of the #7 style. Is it same size as a WHP #7 or the size of the versa #7?

As do I. I'm not sure if I just want to buy a WHP and say heck with these new ones or just wait until February and buy this model. I loved the feel of the WHP but a milled #7 just sounds perfect.

Well I didn't write that for my health lol. Thanks for the info and yes I am human and may have missed your post. Have you seen the putter in person or basing an assumption off the pics? It looks as if the center alignment is thicker as well.
