2014 Taylormade TP CB, MC & MB Pics (American release photos and spec sheets)

Note: Irons will not have TP badge on them, only on prototypes

 

Major questions and answers discussed in the thread:

 

Will all of the TP line be forged?

 

In the MB's (Muscle Backs) all irons will be forged and will not have a speed pocket.

In the MC's (Muscle Cavity) The 3-7 will be cast and will have a speed pocket, 8-P will be forged

The CB irons will be fully cast, and like the MC irons they will have a Speed Pocket in the 3 through 7 irons. The 8 through PW and AW are expected to be cast from a slightly softer stainless steel.

 

Will there be a Speed Blade tour iron?

 

There will not be a speed blade tour iron, the CB will be taking that spot

 

When will the irons be released?

 

CB/MC: January 6th

MB: January 6th

 

Pricing?

 

CB: $899

MC: $999

MB: $1099

 

Stock Shaft?

 

KBS Tour

 

Will there be a AW?

 

There will be a Tour Preferred AW with the MC and CB

 

What will the lofts be?

 

MB lofts

3 - 21* 4 - 24* 5 - 27* 6 - 31* 7 - 35* 8 - 39* 9 - 43* PW - 47*

 

CB and MC lofts will be 1 degree stronger

 

Offset?

 

The SpeedBlade has 1.4mm more offset then CB, CB has 1.1mm more offset then MC. MC has less offset than Titleist 714 MB

I really like it, actualyl way more than the 2011 tp forged irons. Just a plain and simple brushed metal, no other colors.

I knew they looked familiar, but I couldn't pinpoint what it was. Thanks for that. I do like the look of them though, interested to see the MB even though I know I won't be playing them (I gots my ego in check y'all)
