my buddies wife works for sunglass hut, he says without a doubt maui jim is the best thing you can get on the market. After going to their website and reading up on their company, i believe him.

Ive got both, actually i have quite a few pairs of Maui Jim's, and without a doubt, Maui Jim IMO make the best lenses for sunglasses, and I absolutely love mine.

I have both. Kaenon has a plastic lense, Maui glass. Both are great. I prefer my 2 pairs of Maui over the Kaenons.

Go put both pairs on. Glasses are highly subjective.

I tried to get into a pair of MJ's last year, but couldn't find a pair to fit my face properly. Kaenons have been good for me for many seasons. Have the Kore model that fits me OK. Only complaint is that the ear socks want to come off the bows. But they're old now... lenses have been great. Eyes never feel tired.

I was a big Kaenon fan until I bought my first pair of Costa Del Mar. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

So I have exclusively used both brands....both have excellent technology in their lenses.

For me what has made the difference, Kaenon has a lifetime warranty. Also, the frames in Kaenons are much more sturdy and durable. I went through multiple pairs of MJs because they were not as durable. Kaenons seem like they are almost 1 fully integrated piece...very sturdy.

I prefer MJs as it gets darker(like if you are playing early or late)/ They brighten things up more than Kaenons.

I like the Kaenons, better when reading putts...the polarization seems to make the lines more obvious.

MJ lenses seems to be easier to clean...I can't explain it...I have to use lens spray to clean Kaenons good, whereas with MJs they cleaned well with just the little lens cloth. But the MJs I had did get dirtier, again I feel because of the frame construction with more crevices.

I like Kaenons because they have multiple colors. I have a very cool of clear dark blue frames that look awesome.

Personally, my experience with customer service at Kaenon as been way better. MJ seems to want to extract every penny they can from you and have been very inflexible when I have dealt with them. K, exactly the opposite.

I know the guy who owns kaenon... The lenses are unreal quality. Sr91 has a ton of tech in it. He used to design for Oakley before deciding he could make a better product on his own. They are great. Maui Jim is really nice too but don't underestimate kaenons optics....
