I'm weird I like to use certain grips on different heads. Example I like leather paddle grips on blades. I like ping grips on Anser type heads and I like thicker grips on Mallets....

Is that really the "best putter grip" a Tigershark SJ67 knockoff from Winn? Or the Pro X a SuperStroke knockoff from Winn? Does Winn have anything creative in their putter grip line or are they just ambulance chasers of SuperStroke/tigershark ... two original putter grip companies.

I am using these grips as well, and like both of them.
Right now im using 2.0, but I have 2 putters with a 1.0 on them.

I love the Pingman grip, but can only play it on Ping putters. I like the Premio putter grips as well on an answer style head. I was sold on the SS 2.0 for mallet style heads, but had a 3.0 sitting around that I threw on a putter and I really like the little bit of extra size it gives.

I bought a putter a few months ago and didn't even inquire as to what type of grip it had.

It arrived with a Salty Cork grip and that is the best feeling putter grip I've ever had.

I have constantly gone back to winn mainly because of the tapering and grip form of the top of the grip with the oval handling. Can someone take a top view pic of the iomic a for me?

Picked up an iomic midsize that was already fitted to a scotty. Not bad and preferable texture to a Winn for me, but I don't feel it's that much better than a pingman. I like a slightly larger putter grip, but didn't care for the texture of a superstroke 2.0 (despite good results). For me, lamkin cord paddle any day on any putter.

For those of you not familiar, other than maybe seeing their logo around WRX or Zach's bag thread in the WITB bag section, BestGrips.com is the David in a world of Goliaths. A small company, totally, 100% US based run by a man, Zach, with a Huge heart.

The fact that he's got the only 100% US made and 100% hand made grips on the market is a pretty cool reason to try one. He has eight styles, designed for both an arc stroke or a SBST stroke. His leather is incredible, and unlike most leather on the market, if his get wet, whether it be rain or sweat, they tack up enough to give you a firm grip without going annoyingly overboard where it's a sticky feeling.

His Microperf and his Major League grips are top shelf, the best quality leather that you can buy, and the amazing thing is that at $35, they are a great bargain.

Seriously, if one of these larger companies offered the premium leather that Zach uses, and forget about hand made, seriously, What do you think that they'd charge?

And I'm not knockin the other companies, because along with a few putters, I've got a few grips, however I will say that his leather grips are the best out there, In my opinion, though a grip, like a club, is such an individual thing, try one if you get the chance and see how it stacks up

And as good as his product is, the best part of BestGrips is the Man.

If you have a question, concern, problem or a complaint, you get Zach. And not an endless e-mail parade. You speak to Zach. How many companies can you pick up the phone and not only get the man who's made your product on the line, but also the owner of the company?

Excuse me if I've gone over board, however I know how excited Zach was to reach the level of success where he was able to advertise on WRX, and I know how much of himself he puts into EVERY SINGLE Grip and Puttershoe He makes, and I just hope that if you use leather, or if you're thinkin of trying it, and if you haven't, you should, please give one of his grips a try, and hell, his club grips are even more incredible, LMAO, but that's another thread.

I'd also say no best grip. I will say this...I got a custom edel and it had a pure on it. I use them now. They are great. Like a ping grip and sticky. Lot of feedback. Come in all colors. Try one.

For me the Winn Pro X feels a lot better than the Superstoke. I guess its all down to ones personal preference though!

Have to add the mid size Ping cord grip. Awesome.

A nice hidden gem is the new Lamkin I-line grips. Texture of their crossline grips but made by Iomic I believe. Very nice.
