So what's the latest info on Stillwater golf course at Mystic Ridge? Looks like work has resumed. Are they now planning on completing and opening the course? I hope so. I'd sure like to play there.

I've been asking the same question for years on this forum. I rode by it a few years ago and it looked like it could be a nice piece of land for a course. I believe you can see a couple of holes from the road and from what i remembered, the holes looked finished and very playable. Hope someone has some good news about it opening and if it does open, its public and affordable.

I rode by last weekend and there is working going on there. If you check out the satelite view on google maps, you can see all of the holes. They had the green that you could see from the back entrance (Cox Road) covered. Sometime last year I rode around by the front entrance and there was a gate that was locked up and you could see parts of the course from that area. But the last time I went that way I could no longer find the gate. The phone number I had stopped working last summer. I would call every 3 or 4 months and ask when it would be ready and they would always say next spring, next fall, next summer depending on when I called. Maybe they should have started the neighborhood before the course?

Encouraged to hear that there is at least some activity out there. The last I had heard - there was an article in the Williamson Herald stating at the time the time, there were still several liens against the owner. Hopefully this got resolved and there may be hope that this track may see the light of day this year.

Drove by again on my way to Forrest Crossing today and it looks like work is still going on. Hopefully it gets finished eventually.

I read a while back that the clubhouse was completed. The course looks mostly complete too from what little you can see from both sides and from the Google earth view. Looks like it will have lots of bunkers. The cart paths appear to be done. I'm not sure what they are working on now but there are trucks running in and out. Surely they are getting close to opening it up.

Drove by there today and there is quite a bit of progress. Good to see that the greens were covered on the holes (16) that you can see from Cox road. Still trying to figure out who the development company is that is progressing - not sure if it is the original investor or a new group. Safe to say that the pictures you can find online look very promising and this course would quickly be one of the top courses in the Middle TN area. Given all of the growth in this area, it is really the one thing that is lacking in Williamson County - a good quality upscale public access course.

Any new news on what is happening with this course? I noticed that Google Earth has updated imagery from November of 2013 and you can see that outside of the infrastructure of the roads around the course, it looks like it was ready to play. Have asked some friends that are realtors and no one seems to have any additional information.

Rode past the course again last weekend. Looks like are running utilities down the road that seemed end just past the course. Looks like they are also prepping for a road at the construction entrance of the course that runs next to it. What little of the course you can see from Cox Road looks good. Maybe someday we will get to hit some shots there.

Some kind of work was going on today. Not sure why they'd still be working if they didn't plan to open it. Hopefull it gets opened sooner or later.

Holy crap, had no clue more people than myself knew about this place. I live about 5 min away and can't find out or figure out anything about it. They are doing construction right in front of what I would think is an entrance. There were sprinklers turned on, watering the fairways on that hole you can see on Cox Rd all week. I would kill for a course this close to the house. I'd love to play at the Grove but unless you own a lot, no membership. I am getting to play out there in a week as we are doing their new clubhouse.

I am extremely excited about a possible course there. I had lost all hopes about 5 years ago but someone is paying to water the place. And the fairways have been mown perfectly and sand traps look great.

Just went by on my way home. Looks like they widened the road right there, but that is about it. Fairways look great. They appear to be making a winding road up to wherever the clubhouse is but the dirt road they have created isn't wide enough for 2 cars so maybe that isn't it...

They've been running new utilities out towards the back entrance for a couple of months now. Hopefully they are close and we will get to try it out soon. I can't wait.

I will have died and gone to heaven if that turns out to be a public course. Just having (what I hope will be a nice place) to hit balls after work that close to home will be amazing. If the course is nice, even better.

Any updates on the course? I thought about stopping and walking up to see what it looks like but was afraid of trespassing. Doesn't look like we will be playing it this year. Man it's been forever since they first started work there.

I did see a blue flag stick in the hole that is closest to the road. Kind of weird to me. The construction to the presumable entrances has hit a hault

This is my first post but I have been following this topic for a while. Thought I would let you guys know the new exciting info I received today regarding "Hideway at Arrington".

Not sure how long you've been following the development but from how it sounds, you know that it's gone through multiple name changes during its course. Our group, based out of California, came in earlier this year and recapitalized the project with the intention of seeing it through to completion. We renamed the course The Hideaway at Arrington.

The golf course is 100% complete and has been for a number of years. Since it was lightly maintained, there's been some work involved in order to get it ready for opening. We equipped our course maintenance crew with a fleet of Toro turf care equipment at the beginning of August and they've worked non-stop since on every aspect of the course. While we're going into winter, the course looks spectacular and we've received a number of raving reviews from the few who've played the course to date.

We plan on opening the course for semi private play this coming Spring 2015. This means that there will be both membership and daily fee play upon opening. Golf club amenity wise, the clubhouse will still be under construction when we open the course however we're going to be working with a national golf management company to get temporary amenity options set up in the interim. Once complete, the clubhouse will feature a restaurant, bar, pro shop, convention space, fitness room, and yoga/pilates room.

From a home perspective, we've received commitments from a number of regional builders for lots in Phases 1 and 2. These lots begin off the east and west Cox Road entrances to the development and extend up the hill towards the clubhouse. Homes will likely start in the mid $600s. In all there will be 482 homes across the 740+ acres of land that is the development. While neighboring communities have very few golf course lots, our development features golf course vistas on nearly 50% of the lots. Community members will, depending on their membership, have access to the clubhouse, golf course, fitness center, yoga, infinity pool, pool house, tennis court, fishing ponds, hiking trails and more.

I encourage you to direct those interested to the page that you signed up at for more updates. I plan on publishing updates via email on occasion. Do also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as that will be an excellent source for pictures and quick updates. Let me know if you have any other questions and I hope to see you out at the course this Spring!

Regards,
