What's the longest iron in your bag? Your handicapp?

Don't currently have a handicap, but I would estimate it to be about a 5.

Pulled the 3 iron in favor of a hybrid 6 or 7 years ago, did the same with the 4 iron 2 or 3 years ago. Never been a good long iron player.

I replace my 5 iron with a 5H last spring when I noticed Graeme McDowell playing a 5H. I'm simply more consistent with the hybrid.

I aslo noticed that Lydia Ko is playing with a 5H. I believe a lot of mid-cappers could learn a thing or two from her game.

^ This. Same iron, same HC, same reasons. As I get older I'm finding the hybrids are so much easier for me to hit...consistently.

I carry a 21* 3 iron, but only use it for tee shots when anything over 240 is trouble or too narrow for comfort with the driver or 3 wood. Otherwise it's a 24* 4 iron. I play off a ~12 index.

There are definitely days when I'm spraying my driver into the trees that I miss my 5 iron, as it was my go-to club for punching out of the forest. :-) The 5H gets the ball into the air too quickly, as does my 6I.
