I was fortunate enough to get my hands on both of those putters...definitely different and as the guy told me, they are for the Japan only and are "too wild for the US market"

Still pretty cool to see something out of the box.

I will say that having seen the Fourteen clubs in person, they make some very beautiful clubs that feel great to swing. However it's hard for me to want to spend the money on them when it's the same amount for Mizuno irons. The wedge of theirs I have is fantastic though.

It's interesting that the previous poster felt that it was hard to justify the cost of Fourteen irons when compared to Mizuno which he believes to be comparably priced,. There has aklways been a very high brow Mizuno bias on this website, justifiably so. They make great, realy great irons. But what we get here in the US is not what the Japan Domestic market gets. We don't svratch the surface of what these companies have to offer. I personally have a strong dislike for Mizuno, but only because I have never found one that I can hit reliably. Gorgeous and mouth watering but hard to hit, at least for me. Luckily I make a good living and can indulge myself with golf clubs and I'm here to tell you that nothing I've ever hit from Mizuno rivals Fourteen. My opinion. I think the irons are softer, longer and more durable. They are however much more expensive (well worth it in my mind) than American Mizzy products but not JDM or even TM ot Callaway or Titleist. The beauty of Fourteen is that there are not 2 lines, only 1. More expensive than US stuff but reasonable compared to JDM. I also am aware that they are forged in China. Who cares. IMHO they feel better tha Miura and are only topped by Endo. Fourteen is sensational at wedges and irons and are making huge in roads into FW, hybrids and drivers. That said, I actually played a Fourteen driver for a while but it got blown out by a RomaRo Ray driver a FW. The Japanese have some amazing struff, sadly US Mizzy stuff isn't even a taste. Fourteen is trying to break down the door in the US market, but it aunt gonna happen. Too expensive. To me however, worth it.

I too have a personal dislike for Mizuno, as I had a small accident in my 6 iron (I still think was product of a bad batch) and the company never offered to help. Agree in your opinion of Fourteens. I moved to Fourteens, all the while my beautiful made for MP59s have been relegated to backups and travel clubs. The Fourteen is an spectacular feeling club. Whoever have never tried, do it.

Wasn't it a gauge on your 6 iron Marzo? How is that a product of a bad batch?

I have played mp-33s for about 9 years now and I have only ever seen fourteen irons once, got to hit them a bit and if I could afford it I would buy them in a heartbeat they have such a soft crack to them when you strike the ball it amazing and they are nice to look at but I can get mizzy mp-33 heads for 150-200$ like new so until fourteens come down never gonna happen

It was not bag chatter or me hitting a rock. Last thing I knew was the club was in my car, looks it hit something and you could see the metal under the metal, that is why I say it had to be a bad batch, 'cause I have never seen anything like it in a club unless you slice it open.

Long story short: Mizuno rep said no worrying about sending it, nothing to be done (even if it was under warranty). Tried to escalate without success. Bought the same head on ebay ($46), and Mizuno lost a customer. After that I decided to try the Fourteens, and I am very happy now with what I have. Note: the MP59 is a really good club, my dissatisfaction is with the service.

Not to rain on the parade, but given how good their wedges and blades look, it's shocking how bad the player's cavities look. I just don't get it. If I didn't know those were Fourteens, I'd swear they were cheap components (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Gotta agree on this one. Very cheap looking, especially the first one. Putters are not great looking either. And then you get the logo, what's the deal with that?

All these posts and no one asking when these will be released!!
I don't care what anybody else thinks of their looks I really like the PC-555!
Anybody know when?

PS...and for the uninitiated, Fourteen makes great stuff. Their CT-112 driver stayed in my bag all year and will most likely be the opening day 2014 starter. A record for me!

I live in Japan for one thing, and the only bias I have towards Mizuno is due to the fact that I have owned their clubs and liked them. It's not that I think they are in any way better, I just could buy Mizunos, a brand that I have experience with, for the same price. Didn't mean to imply that I saw them as inferior, it's just always hard to make the leap to a new product when they are the same price as one you have experience with. That's all I meant, sorry for not being more concise.

Ditto. Their blades and wedges look AMAZING. These? Not so much. In fact, they look to be a far cry from the usual Fourteen aesthetics.

I mean, I like golf balls
but not that much.

I just placed an order for a combo set of the TC 777 in long irons and FH 1000 in the short irons. It's going to be a long ten days. Thanks to Mike Kim of Fourteen for his patience in fitting me, truely an awesome guy....The TC777 seem to be an instant sucess, with a lot of sets being sold. Was planning a full set of FH1000, but the TC777 were just to easy and consistent in the long irons...I'll update after a few rounds...Kekoa, you are offically on notice, and your still not getting any strokes...
