durability?

just got lh mira cavities :man_in_love: can anyone tell me the durability of these irons. IM A 2 HDCP play almost everyday in the summer and fall in the great midwest, soil isn't sandy, hit 10-20 practice balls a day {im old cant hit that many anymore} cant believe how wonderful these are :clapping: thanks for your comments. pat

Just like any forged iron made of a soft metal, it will be susceptible to wear. Guess it really depends on what your used to. My understanding is that Miura uses a pretty soft steel so this would no doubt be the case with these clubs. I'm about to purchase the exact same exact set of clubs. I agree with you, awesome irons.

 

BTW: Wish I only had to hit 10-20 balls a day to play to a 2.

I've had my Mira's for 2 full seasons and they are only just beginning to show the type of wear that you usually see after a season with other clubs. I play at least 3 days per week April - October, pretty extensive range sessions 2 days a week. Most of the courses I frequent (Northern Virginia) use a lot of sand to fill divots and level the ranges. Before the Miura's I had a set of Srixon Pro-100's that didn't even last a season before wearing through the chrome.

 

The other nice thing about Miura is that you can get individual clubs replaced as needed. My 7-iron had an unfortunate meeting with a rock and I was able to get the head replaced in just a few days.

Two sons and I game Miuras. I keep covers on mine when not on the links and they have stayed near mint. My sons bought theirs used and already had bag chatter so they do not cover then. All are still fine.

 

They are soft but normal play is not a hazard.

:o I am sorry to hear that my friend. However, I have no plans to get a new set at this time, and I play to a pretty different spec from yours. Are your Miura new with standard length shafts? I would suggest that you list them on Lefty's Swap Shop first. With an offer of $1,000, I feel it's got a very good chance there. I will pm you if I change my mind.

The RH model similar to it would be the CB-202. If you look at the specs, you will notice that the lefty does not have progressive offset like the CB-202. I love that.

 

Also, the design of the lefty blades are different from the RH Tournament Blades.

 

Yup, the lefties are out of stock at the moment.
