Courses around Bowling, KY.

Good course to play

Is there anybody that has a suggestion for some good courses around Bowling Green, KY. I have to travel there the first weekend of october and was hoping somebody might be interested in playing on the 4th of october in the late afternoon.I can play on friday-sunday but not until after 5:00 p.m.

Well there are a few decent courses. The nicest course in Bowling Green is Olde Stone, but it is very private.

 

As for courses that will have easy access the first that comes to mind is Crosswinds Golf Course. It is smack dab in the middle of BG near the airport. It is a nice layout, not superb but nice. There are a couple more city owned courses, but they aren't as good.

 

If you wanted to drive a little bit there is Kenny Perry's Country Creek in Franklin, KY. Although I haven't played there yet this year so I am not sure how the track is looking so far.

 

Basically, if you could find a way onto Olde Stone I would seriously try that. I could get you on, but unfortunately the bank I work for can't grant me permission to use the business membership. Try Crosswinds it would be easy to get on out there and it isn't a bad track.
