Creighton Farms - Anyone play.

I am going to play Creighton Farms in Aldie during US Open week. Has anyone played the course? I chose it based on a recommendation and pics, but I also had the opportunity to play Columbia CC in MD. Hope I made the right choice.

Awesome course, great layout, and always in excellent conditions. Greens are small, fast, and undulating. Not a lot of trees but a lot of marshy areas and tall wild grass. Some of the houses are rediculous. Think some of the Redskins live in the community.

Sounds great. I think that Columbia CC was going to be a bit stuffy for my clients, so Creighton sounds perfect.

I've passed it a few times and it looks like an amazing course. I actually met the person in charge of the kitchen there when he was playing at the golf course I work at, gave me his card and told me to give him a call if I ever wanted to play there................and then I lost the number haha

Just thought I would report back on Creighton. First off, we had the course to ourselves. The place only has about 60 members. I have no idea how they can maintain the place the way they do with only 60 members.

There is no clubhouse yet, but they are in the process of building what looks to be a modest club house.

The golf course was fantastic. A variety of hole shapes and distances. The short par fours have diabolical greens. Overall, the greens were extremely fast and undulating. One of our group putted off of the green and down the fairway 30 yards.

Anyway, if you get the chance, it is a must play.
