Starting to play again

Hey guys!!! I just started playing again after a year sabbatical from the game. I'm in the military and my training didn't leave me much time to play. I'm extremely happy to be playing again. I used to be pretty good a few years back when I played all the time but, now I'm just trying to shake the rust off. If anyone is from Vegas and wants to play let me know!!!! I can't find too many guys that play in my line of work :)

RJ, i too just started back and live in vegas, drop me an email: [email protected]. I like playing the muni courses until the game gaets better and the green come back.

I could have used you yesterday!!!! We had a member-guest tourney on base! I didn't know any know .mil guys that played around here.

I should clarify that I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I'm stationed in Vegas. I should be in Vegas for at least 2 more years not counting deployments :)

I am from Las Vegas, and stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. I should be heading back to the city in the summer time, after my rotation is done. I am going to be bringing my clubs with me, so that I can get in a few rounds. A buddy of mine told me to get in contact with a certain person at one of the highend courses in the area and he might be able to get me a cut rate. I used to play out at Nellis AFB when there were only 18 holes and the driving range actually divided hole 1 and 18. Now it is impressive that they have 36, but kept most of the original 18. I always liked the course being right along the runway, and nothing beats playing the 3rd 9 hole portion that has 7 of the holes right off the end of the runway. I can't remember the name of that 9. I know that there is the Eagle, Falcon, Thunderbird (the newest 9), and one other. My training has kept me from playing much. Now that I am getting my kids into the game, I am able to play more and will actually be trying to play some amatuer events so that I can try to get into the All-Army golf trials in '08.
